Pros:

When I booked this place, I was afraid it might be too far out of town or not as nice as I wanted, but it turned out to be an excellent place to stat in La Fortuna. If I were to ever return to La Fortuna, I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was super friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was excellent. Yum! And the sloth tour I participated in with Armando was excellent. We say 6 sloth and a bunch of different frogs, animals, insects, etc. I would totally stay here again!

The garden, we saw many animals, such as wildpigs, capibara, racoon, Birds and frogs and we got a night tour in the garden. It was absolute fabulous!

Pros:

Goede locatie in La Fortuna op loopafstand van restaurants. Het uitzicht vanaf de ontbijtzaal en de dieren in de nabije omgeving. De luiaardtour met Armando was ons hoogtepunt, waarbij we veel luiaards en andere dieren zagen (+mini nachttour). Comfortabele en grote bedden.

Cons:

Geen grote dingen, alleen kleine details. Het zwembad is wat koud om in te zwemmen. In onze kamer was de badkamer met een houtendeur gescheiden wat niet goed was voor privacy. Wat stofdraden tussen het houtwerk, maar dit is lastig schoon te krijgen.

Good value for price - great view of Arenal
Pros:

Good, clean accommodation with relative large rooms for the avg price paid

Cons:

1. Jose who was the front desk when we checked in was super excellent. However the weekend front desk guy was below average on the occasions we had to interact.

2. We were the first room next on ground floor. It can get noisy with people going in front of it and above.

3. The fridge in the room was semi operational and was leaving the water from de-condensation from the freezer
