Good for a night or two to explore Victoria, great location.

Beds were very small, doubles at best and the rooms are laid out very strangely so they feel a bit cramped and crowded despite being quite big.

Wonderful place to stay in Victoria.
Pros:

Very comfortable room, the beds were excellent. It was nice to have a kitchenette. The location is very convenient for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Helms Inn.

I have no complaints whatsoever

Pros:

The decor was comfortable and modern. Spacious room and sufficient kitchen supplies other than the lack of a measuring cup and filters for extra coffee we brought. Good lighting and well appointed bathroom.

Cons:

Air conditioner was not operating properly and too loud. The bathroom door was not functioning properly as the hinge was broken. A measuring cup would be useful. Road noise was high but that can't be helped but hence the need for better AC.

Great place to stay if you are coming in on the last ferry.

Perfect Restful Stop
Pros:

The location was excellent. The neighbourhood was quiet. Easy walking to restaurants, etc. A bus stop just outside - able to travel directly to Butchart Gardens. The laundry service was particularly useful. Hotel was opposite a beautiful park - enjoyed walking there!
