Centre to the town
The room had a beautiful window with only one window die opening but the hotel supplied a fan
l’ambiance générale, la décoration charmante, l’arrière jardin reposant pour prendre le petit déjeuner par exemple, le personnel est très serviable et gentil.
la chambre est petite, le lit un peu court pour une personne d’1m85. J’ai retrouvé des poils et des cheveux dans le lit, sous la couette et sous l’oreiller… en arrivant, c’est très désagréable. Certaines petites rénovations, comme les moquettes (tachées, usées et sales) ou encore les peintures, craquelées par endroits redonneraient à l’hôtel un peu plus de cachet. De même pour la propreté, des toiles d’araignée, les fientes sur les parasol ou autres zones moins accessibles non nettoyées baissent la note.
It was extremely tired carpet wasn’t clean
Great location to explore different parts of the isle. Loved the decor all over the common areas and the garden was lovely. The breakfast was faultless and the sonsonete in general was really enjoyable for me
The room was not very clean. The carpet was stained, the bedding had a stale smell and under the bed was really visibly never reached by a vacuum cleaner. It looked like it may have bed bugs but luckily no bites. The room was also extremely hot all night.
A wonderful location in Newport, close enough to the bus station for trips into all directions if the island. Quiet street with artsy shops and nice restaurants. A small, privately managed hotel, in a tastefully refurbished building, preserving the charm. The garden for breakfast was just out of a fairy tale.

Only one small criticism - there needs to be a small handrail in the bath as it was quite slippy and a handrail would have helped me not worry about falling - and I’m fit and healthy!
Quiet location close to town centre. Lovely walled garden. Nice food. Lovely room with ceiling fan.
