Dear Booking.com Customer Service,
I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at Hotel Le Magnifique in Paris.
During my stay, there was extensive construction and renovation work taking place at the hotel. The noise was constant, and the area was extremely messy, which significantly affected my experience. In addition, the TV in my room was not working. I have attached photographs showing the construction work, the condition of the hotel, and the TV issue.
Had the Booking.com or website had listing clearly stated that renovation or construction work was taking place during my stay, I would never have booked this hotel. I believe this important information should have been disclosed before booking, as it had a major impact on the quality of my stay and ruined what was supposed to be an enjoyable trip to Paris.
I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and advise what compensation or refund can be offered. I look forward to your response.

La décoration
Rooms were clean and well appointed, AC worked, staff was really helpful, facilities were updated (pool, fitness equipment etc). Location was great- near the train station, easy to get to other parts of the city, breakfast was worth the price
nothing bad to day about this property. We will stay again!

Nous avons aimé l’emplacement, le fait que l’hôtel soit complètement neuf et la piscine magnifique et le petit déjeuné qui était très bien….Bon..nous n’avons pas aimé la déco et le thème choisi, mais ça c’est tellement personnelle.
Nous n’avons pas aimé le personnel, pas très sympa à la réception, quand on se veut un hôtel avec plusieurs étoiles, il va falloir revoir la copie quand à l’accueil à la réception..
Il a fallut de grandes discussions avec le personnel le jour de notre départ pour obtenir une facture!!!! Incroyable!!! du jamais vu. Ils ne voulaient pas nous faire une facture pour notre nuitée 😳😳c’était surréaliste…celle ci nous est arrivée par mail après avoir insisté fortement…pas professionnelle…
Personnel très accueillant, très belle décoration !! Calme et piscine très agréable !!!!
