Ruhige Lage, nahe der Abbey

Cons:

Frühstück: ausreichendes Buffet. Personal langsam, unaufmerksam evtl. noch in der Lernphase. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel trotzdem nicht würdig.
Wir hatten wohl das teuerste Zimmer, mit Balkon. Zimmer war super schön aber die Terrasse war nicht gereinigt, Spinnweben, Dreck, Moos - ein no Go für ein 5 Sterne Hotel

Pros:

Tolle Lage direkt gegenüber vom Killarney National Park. Schöne Anlage und Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal und der Spabereich war auch sehr schön und der perfekte Rückzugsort an verregneten Tagen.
Das benachbarte Restaurant Colgans Pub ist auch sehr empfehlenswert.

Absolutely beautiful!! Location excellent. Staff fantastic. Worked with us. All restaurant staff great. Monk Bar was spot on to make our trip fun and festive. Perfect atmosphere and great drinks.

Hält nicht ganz das, was man bei Einstufung und Preis erwartet

Man wird freundlich empfangen. Der Concierge hilft einem bei allem, was gebraucht wird. Die Betten waren bequem und angenehm breit. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten gebucht, bekommen haben wir ein Familienzimmer mit Doppelbett und einem Einzelbett. Das Frühstück bietet jede Menge Auswahl und auch dort ist immer eine helfende Hand in der Nähe.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr kalt. Die Klimaanlage hat es mit viel Lautstärke aufgewärmt, aber das Badezimmer blieb eiskalt. Die Anlage ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer hatte nur eine Badewanne mit fest installiertem Duschkopf - nicht mehr sehr zeitgemäß. Die Spazeiten sind zu kurz, wenn man etwas unternehmen und danach wellnessen möchte. Obwohl im Fine-Dining- Restaurant nur 2 Tische belegt waren, sollte man reservieren. Auch das ist schwierig, wenn man den Tag frei gestalten mag. Schade

Sumptuous
Pros:

Sumptuous place. Super kind and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Dined in the pub where the had wonderful country and western singer - lots of fun. Otherwise hotel part very posh. All tje comforts and conveniences.
