Pros:

Very polite staff, nice bar & restaurant, clean rooms. Clearly a relatively new hotel.
Food was good, excellent value and good size portions.

Cons:

Security was a little poor, anyone could enter the bedroom areas. The doors from reception should have additional locks.

Great base for Pennine and Peak adventures!
Pros:

Super location in the rural Peak District very close to Hope and train station. Parking, dog friendly, great casual restaurant, good breakfast, decent sized very comfy rooms with blackout blinds and lovely modern decor. Staff friendly, easy self check in.

Cons:

Nothing!

Great accommodation that even makes sure furry family members have a nice stay
Pros:

The little details were thoughtfully considered. A bed and plush dog toy were provided and our dog was super happy! We were upgraded to a large family room after issues with the door to our room. It was huge and very comfortable. The room decor was funky and fun.

Pros:

Nice modern hotel with a nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely lounge with games and coffee/ tea. We found it a great location for Castleton, Edale and Hathersage.

Cons:

The only downside is the noise from the road, which is very noticable if you have your window open, not too bad if the window is closed. It's on the main road from Hathersage to Castleton, which is very convenient, but the road is fairly busy.

High-end comfy, cosy and relaxing at its best!
Pros:

It’s a truly wonderful place. The most warm and welcoming place. It has a real feel of luxury with a relaxed, cosy and comfortable atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They accommodated our needs (wheelchair user) at short notice. The location is perfect for a ‘stay-put’ kind of stay or if you want to travel further a field during your time there. This is our 2nd visit and it certainly won’t be our last.

Cons:

There really isn’t anything I can fault, the access around the building is excellent. The only feature, which would make it perfect, would be having automatic doors through to the leisure area from the main entrance and into the retreat room. This would have enabled my Mum who is disabled to be more independent while we took our dog for a walk. Otherwise the access around the building is excellent and although we couldn’t get an accessible room (as we booked last minute) the room they offered worked perfectly, just next to the lift. Enabling my Mum to feel some level of independence. This is invaluable to her and us as a family.
