The Sea View room made a big difference
Pros:

We had reserved a garden/pool view room that was nothing special. When we upgraded to a sea view room, we had a huge room and a great balcony the size of many European hotel rooms. It was excellent.
The breakfasts were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Marcello at the front desk and the porter Ivan who hand carried heavy bags several blocks when the hotel parking lot was temporarily closed.
Everything worked well: housekeeping, food service at the bar, and that great view.

Cons:

The only complaints were that the shower water was not warm enough and that the deep jacuzzi stopper did not quite seal (but we did not ask for help on these things).

Disappointing, poor quality hotel

Great location, a nice stroll into the old town and with wonderful views

We upgraded to a room with a ‘panoramic terrace’ but it was neither a terrace (standard balcony, cleverly photographed) and the view was the sea view… the same as any other sea view room.. so not panoramic as it was a standard balcony with limited view. Complete waste of money.

The rooms are ok, but only ok. 3* standard, nothing more. And the cleanliness was ok, but the sheets had marks on them, the balcony was dirty and covered in spider webs, so not great. Didn’t use the spa as we had no confidence it would be nicely maintained.

Also there is no possibility of ironing in your room, you have to visit a special room on another floor. Ridiculous to have to walk through the hotel with your clothes! A strange policy and again, definitely not 5* services.

Wij hebben het hotel zo'n 2 uur na aankomst verlaten en zijn in het hotel er tegenover ingetrokken.
Pros:

Niets van wat je zou mogen verwachten in een 5-sterrenhotel.

Cons:

Het personeel, de voorzieningen, de welness waarvoor ze zotte extra bedragen vroegen. We beseften al gauw dat we hier een miserabel verblijf tegemoet gingen en zijn vertrokken, naar het hotel ertegenover, waar je wel vijfsterrenkwaliteit kreeg voor je geld. We hadden dit hotel niet via booking gereserveerd, omdat het een wanhoopsdaad was om onze vakantie te redden en tot ons grote geluk hadden ze daar nog een kamer vrij voor ons. We hebben booking wel meteen gecontacteerd en officieel een klacht ingediend waarbij ze beloofden ons te zullen compenseren. Ze hebben ons 20 euro cadeau gedaan! Dat was echt een extra slag in ons gezicht, al jaren en jaren werken wij met booking en nog nooit over iets geklaagd en dan maak je zoiets mee, da's gewoon onvergeeflijk. Maar dus: GA NIET NAAR DIT HOTEL!

Kon zeker beter en prijs is serieus overdreven

Ontbijt ok maar opnieuw niet het niveau van een top hotel
Insonorisatie van de kamers laat stevig te wensen over! Badkamer waar je amper ruimte hebt…
Dit hotel is op zivh ok maar haalt zeker niet meer dan 4 sterren . De prijs is dus absoluut surrealistisch.
We waren net buiten het seizoen (voor 1 mei) en het was alsof het hotel nog in winterslaap was. (Airco nok in kamer enz.)

Overpriced and misleading
Pros:

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the bathroom was top-notch, and the view was truly stunning. The hotel is also in a great location. However, despite these high points, the overall experience didn't justify the premium price.

Cons:

I was very disappointed as the 5-star rating didn't match the reality.
The AC and fan were non-functional; we couldn't open the windows due to street noise, and we were told it was 'too early in the season' for AC, unacceptable for this category.
While the bed and bathroom were nice, the rest of the room felt dated and poorly furnished.
Breakfast was poor, even by non-luxury standards.
Additionally, a specific request confirmed before booking was completely ignored upon arrival, with staff claiming it was impossible.
To top it off, the pool was closed and the SPA was not included in the price.
