A Gem In Madrid
Pros:

An excellent hotel with great location. Top notch staff offering attentive service. The rooms were well furnished and modern and despite this is the oldest hotel in Madrid. When you see a pillow menu in the room, you know this hotel means business! Highly recommend to couples looking for a sophisticated stay.

A very nice hotel in a great location, staff very helpful. Would stay again.
Pros:

Location was very good for us. Lots of options to eat nearby. We didnt eat or drink in the hotel but it looked very good. Rooms beds and linen lovely and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The bedside radio put out too much light in the night. I moved it away.

Luxurious stay in central part of Madrid’s touristy area
Pros:

Luxurious, on a quieter street but still very central, very pleasant staff, very comfortable, huge bed, luxurious linen, bath towels, spacious walk in shower, excellent breakfast with outstanding choice of fresh fruits, all the food was of excellent quality

Cons:

No bidet in the toilet.
You have to pay for any tea or coffee that you make in the room.

Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in an hotel.

Cons:
