Sehr netter Empfang, Mitarbeiter waren alles sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit
Essen war für unseren Geschmack gut
Frühstück wie es in England halt so gibt

The setting of the hotel is beautiful and clearly very popular with locals. The room was a good a good size, comfortable and clean. We ate in the Restaurant which was also popular, the food was good pub grub rather than fine dining.
Check in is a bit hit and miss, because rooms only make up a small percentage of thier trade, there was no dedicated staff so you had to catch someone at the bar, which when the bar is busy is dificult.
The layout of the hotel is very higgldy piggldy, going up and down multiple stairs to get to our room. It would be terrible for anyone with any sort of mobility issue.
The biggest thing is value. The price included breakfast but was not cheap. Had it been 70% of the price we paid I would have thought it an OK price for what we got, however I came away feeling I had paid fairly significantly over the odds for what I recieved.
Locatie. Cod and chips.
Sunday roast lunch.
We were given the bigger room overlooking the sea which was fabulous. Stunning decor and the size and fixtures in the bathroom particularly were incredible.
Location was stunning and having a restaurant and bar on site with lovely terraces overlooking the water was also fantastic.
Very good breakfast that can be bought at an extra cost of £11.50 each
Need to bear in mind it’s a popular pub restaurant as well as a hotel and with the location right on the estuary it was very very busy when we arrived. Parking was on a first served basis and no spaces designated for hotel guests so you may need to park further up the road. There were one or two areas that needed attention in the room - a damp patch on the ceiling and areas of repair needed in the bathroom where there was water damage. No shelf for putting toiletries on in the shower.
Good location with lovely views. Lovely outside area to sit and eat, indoor eating area good too. Our bedroom had wonderful view and was so spacious!

I couldn’t stay longer….this time
The location, the staff, the bed and pillows. Food was good in restaurant.
The smell in the bathroom. 2nd stay and there is a smell from the drains in the bathrooms. Only 1 hand towel for 2 people?
a good size and very comfortable room. All; the staff we came into contact with were very polite and helpful.
When we arrived into our room, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, which we believe could have been the drainage. The smell disappeared once we opened the window for some fresh air.
Location was excellent - great views across the Severn. Easy walk into Portishead
