A Great Find
Pros:

Lovely spacious room with large bath and shower. Sea view. Great location, large pub garden with sea views. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pleasant stay with family
Pros:

Beautiful scenery from the hotel grounds with spacious family room. Great breakfast.

Cons:

Staff were clearly stretched so the service at the restaurant/bar wasn’t great but staff were very pleasant and helpful despite the work pressure.

Very pleasant and enjoyable
Pros:

Really enjoyed our stay, the location is excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

There was an odd musty smell coming from the bathroom, the coffee served at breakfast wasn’t great and the juice was obviously from a carton, not the nicest at all. A few minor things but overall we had a very pleasant stay.

In a superb spot over looking Bristol channel
Very friendly staff

Cons:

Evening food not as good as the year before when we stayed (one meal had to send back as all over cooked ,but they rectified it)

Midweek night away
Pros:

Chris, who was managing breakfast was an outstanding member of staff. He was friendly, helpful and professional
The young lady who served us dinner was also a credit to the hotel. Sadly we did not get her name but she had long blonde hair. She was very attentive to our needs and also very friendly but retained a professional manner.

Cons:

Cant think of anything. The stairs for elderly people were a challenge but obviously that cannot be changed. The young ladybon reception carried our bags to our room.

Good ambience
Room very comfortable although the one allocated was very dark up 2 flights of stairs and through a couple of firedoors. I asked if there was anything else and a much nicer room was found on the first floor .
Staff were helpful but perhaps could have discussed what was available when we checked in.

Overall excellnt hotel, clean, well located and friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

The location is excellent, with sea views and extensive outdoor seating. All staff were really friendly and attentive. The service was timely and professional. The decor and facilites were very clean, fresh and very comfortable. The bedrooms were well appointed and bathrooms very clean and fresh. Excellent stay and could not be faulted. There is just a five minute walk down to the marina.

Cons:

The evening dinner menu didn't really match the standard of the hotel, being quite limited in choice. Though the food was well cooked, the amount of choice wasn't really adequate if staying more than a couple of nights. However, the local Marina had a number of excellent restaurants which were close by.
