Hotel is nicely furnished, clean and well maintened, meeting all international standards. If you travel by bus from Seoul as we did, it is very convenient and close to bus terminal.
Hotel does not inform properly about the room facilities. I booked room with lake view for 3 people, with 1 king bed, which I usually do during our travel. In that cases, room is equiped with sofa which could be transformed to full bed in the room. But it is not the case of this hotel, so we needed to change the room after arrival, which is not the problem, but the view of the room was towards the city only.
Great location! Super close to the bus station (for those arriving by express bus) and to the beach. We have booked the family room and it was lovely - nicely decorated, stuffed with toys. Kids loved it. Really nice pool, but for extra fee.
It would be helpful to mention upfront that family room has a blocking view. However, the room itself certainly makes up for the lack of a view, especially with kids, who enjoy it.
The breakfast is beyond amazing! The bed is very big and the room is really big and modern. The shower is great as well.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, insbesondere der Express Bus Terminal ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Auch die Anbindung an den örtlichen Busverkehr mit zwei nahegelegenen Bushaltestellen passt perfekt. Mein Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber.
Der Pool auf dem Dach ist wunderbar und bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf Sokcho.
Die Gebühren für die Nutzung des Pool, die man entweder separat oder bei der Zimmerauswahl entrichten kann, sind viel zu hoch. Nicht gefallen hat mir zudem, dass ganz überwiegend nur bei den ausländischen Touristen das obligatorische Tragen des Armbandes, welches zur Poolnutzung berechtigte, kontrolliert und eingefordert wurde. Dies sollte für alle Gäste gleichermaßen gelten.
Die Ausstattungsangabe "Am Strand" ist irreführend. Der Fußweg dorthin beträgt ungefähr 10 Minuten. Im Fließtext wird dementsprechend auch auf einen Fußweg von ca. 700 m hingewiesen.
Der auf vielen Bildern dargestellte Seeblick ist schön, tatsächlich geht der Blick aber zunächst auf die Rückseite des angrenzenden Supermarktes und dessen Parkdeck.
Insgesamt halte ich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht für stimmig. Einen dem vergleichsweise sehr hohen Hotelpreis angemessenen Service habe ich nicht wahrgenommen. Proaktiv wurden weder Hilfe noch Service angeboten, auch nicht bei der Organisation von Ausflügen.
Auch die insgesamt recht gute Frühstücksauswahl war nicht auf dem Niveau, die den hohen Gesamtpreis rechtfertigt, zumal der Frühstücksraum ein fensterloser Raum im Keller ist.

You have to pay to use the pool which was odd. Also the restaurant mean was a very basic.
Really liked the pool. Breakfast was great. Room had much space and luxury. Shower was perfect and clean.
