The location and the people are beautiful. I wish I could have stayed there.
Pros:

The staff are so kind and friendly. The location is absolutely stunning. The food was excellent and the seating in the restaurant was very comfortable.
I had booked the “budget room” but it turned out to not be suitable so Wuan Wan (I don’t know the spelling, sorry!) moved me to Nerly’s next door.

Cons:

This is NOT a criticism - just a “be aware” to other travellers. This isn’t really clear enough on the app, though the property did contact me when I booked to ask if I knew what I was booking (clearly I didn’t but this seemed to get lost in translation).

The budget room is in the corner of the car park and the view is of a mound of cement. Nothing more. The shared bathroom is the one that is shared by the diners so you would have to walk through the restaurant in your pyjamas to use it in the middle of the night. They create a wonderful atmosphere there and there are people playing guitars, games and singing until late.

Sejour splendide
Pros:

Nous avons adoré le lieux, l'ambiance, la piscine, les repas,, les boissons... les employés sont vraiment aux petits soins et toujours présent pour toute demande. Nous avions loué 1 bungalow et 1 cabane. Un séjour de plusieurs nuits vraiment magnifique, au milieu d’une nature luxuriante.

Cons:

Ce que je regrette un peu: la cabane que nous avions était très sombre et sans vue car complètement sous les arbres. Le matelas du bungalow mériterait peut-être d’être changé car il s'affaisse par endroit.

Pros:

The venue is very beautiful, and I believe this is its greatest strength. The use of natural materials and the organic forms create a warm, authentic, and harmonious atmosphere that fits perfectly with the surrounding environment. Cons:

We wanted to stay longer... but it was overbooked. Anyway, we missed the warm water, but it's okay.

Echt geweldig! Een aanrader
Pros:

- Geweldige locatie, op loop afstand van de “hoofdstraat” van Bukit Lawang en toch compleet in het bos
- Hele lieve, behulpzame en enthousiaste staff. Mowgli, Adam, Alberto en alle anderen hebben ons een onvergetelijke tijd gegeven
- Mega leuke een, twee (of meer) daagse tour die georganiseerd wordt vanuit de lodge waaraan je kunt deelnemen
- Goed eten en drinken in de lodge voor ontbijt, avondeten, lunch en snacks!
- Water te krijgen in de lodge
- Gezellige sfeer
- Vanuit de lodge kun je vervoer regelen van / naar Medan, ook dat is een aanrader

Cons:

Niets dat niet beviel!

Tip: Je slaapt in de jungle, dus houd rekening met:
- ‘S nachts veel natuur geluiden, geen airco en een koude douche
- Je slaapt op dunne matrassen
- Muggen (neem spray mee en je zit goed)

Absolut beeindruckend!
Pros:

Die Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, man fühlte sich direkt aufgenommen. Junge Menschen, locker,lebensfroh. Die Bungalows waren wunderschön, ebenso das "Restaurant". Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker. Besonders hervorzuheben natürlich die Dachungeltour und unsere Guides Wahyu und Jordan. Ich habe so lange überlegt welche Unterkunft und die damit verbundene Dschungeltour ich nehmen soll und war einfach sehr glücklich über meine Entscheidung. Die Jungs haben das so toll gemacht. Sie waren stets hilfsbereit, freundlich, haben alles ganz liebevoll hergerichtet, ganz viel Wissenswertes erklärt. Ich hab mich so wohl gefühlt. Andere Guides die wir getroffen haben waren ziemlich überdreht, teilweise albern und laut im Dschungel. Ich wollte auch keine Dämlichkeit Blätterkrone basteln, was wir auch zum Glück nicht gemacht haben. Unser Spruch "langsam aber sicher" hat alles rundum perfekt gemacht. Das Essen auf der Tour war auch köstlich.
Die Route die wir gegangen sind anstrengend abenteuerlich genau nach meinem Geschmack und Urang Utans haben wir auch gesehen. Und manche davon waren wirklich freilebend! Es war der Wahnsinn. Danke Jungs für diese tolle Tour. Übrigens können die Guides auch noch singen und Gitarre spielen, das aber nur in der Unterkunft. Definitiv immer wieder!

Cons:

Eigentlich war alles super. Die Matratzen im Camp hätten etwas dicker sein können. Wir haben aber auch schon alte Knochen;-)
