The Mountain View - no children

Absolutely everything. The location is incredible, perched on a hill in Pestera with panoramic views across the mountains. The food was delicious. The owners are really kind people who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And beautiful and friendly dogs to top it off!

We will always remember our stay here fondly and hope to visit again in the future. A real highlight of our travels over the last few years.

Our stay here was absolutely unforgettable. Sid and Christina welcomed us with genuine warmth, kindness, and hospitality that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

The location was perfect for us—peaceful and secluded enough to fully disconnect, yet only a short 15-minute drive from the nearest town whenever we needed anything. The views are simply breathtaking, and anyone lucky enough to stay here will understand just how special this place is.

This is a true sanctuary from the chaos of everyday life. Surrounded by nature, friendly animals, and an atmosphere of complete tranquility, it offers the perfect opportunity to slow down and recharge. Christina’s homemade meals were exceptional—prepared with love and care, and among the highlights of our stay.

The mountains are right on your doorstep, and we enjoyed an incredible hike with spectacular scenery.

Everything was perfect! The view was breathtaking, the hosts were amazing and the food she cooked was the best! Best stay ever! I dont know how to explain more!

The views from the house and the room are absolutely exceptional. Cristina was a very kind hostess. She welcomed us warmly. She cooked for us a delicious meal.
I watched the stars with her and had interesting conversations.
She showed sincere concern and tried to help when my husband fell ill.

Un loc foarte linistit, cu vedere spre Bucegi si la 4km (mers pe jos) de Parcul Național Piatra Craiului.
Noi am ales aceasta locatie pentru animale: Jackie, Becky și Aysha (cățelușele) și Missy și Blue (pisicile) ne-au facut sejurul mai mult ca perfect.
Condițiile foarte bune, nu ne-a lipsit nimic.
Gazda este foarte amabilă, ne-a ajutat cu tot ce am avut nevoie, ba chiar ne-a servit cu mancare la
sosire.
Aceasta casa ofera odihna!

O locatie de vis in care ne-am simtit mai mult ca parte din aceeasi familie mai degraba decat oaspeti.Cristina si Sid sunt niste gazde extraordinare.Mancare de nota zece pregatita de Cristina.Pensiunea ofera o vedere de vis catre muntii Bucegi si Ciucas si am avut norocul sa avem zapada din belsug Semineul din living,pusicutele si catelusele au facut parte dintr-o experienta de neuitat

A lovely place with incredible views and such a beautiful cozy design. What made it special was Cristina - who made us feel like home - and of course the clever doggos and 2 adorable cats (that kept us company while enjoying the fireplace and our books in the living room). This is a jem and we truly recommend it.

We had the best time at the Mountain View! Sid and Cristina were both lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They gave us advice on hikes and even a lift to Bran so we could get the bus back to Brasov. Our hike was amazing, the scenery was so beautiful and Jackie the dog accompanied us for the whole 20km. The room was very comfortable and clean and downstairs we had our own fridge and use of the kitchen and living area.

Fantastic location. Excellent for hiking. Very good optional cooking by the host breakfast and dinner. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Great experience.

Am petrecut 4 zile in aceasta locație și ne-am fi dorit să mai rămânem. Cazarea este noua, spațioasă, curată și cu un view superb de oriunde te-ai afla. Cristina și Sid, gazdele noastre, ne-au primit încă din primul moment cu zâmbetul pe buze și cu brațele deschise. Ne-au pus la dispoziție absolut tot ce am avut nevoie și ne-au făcut să ne simțim acasă. Este un loc unde cu siguranță o să revenim. Dacă-ți dorești un loc în natură, cu multă liniște, cu animăluțe, oameni frumoși și un loc unde să te simți ca la căsuța ta din munți, îți recomand să le pășești pragul.

Am avut parte de o experiență frumoasă în satul Peștera, cu o cazare amplasată într-un loc superb, cu priveliști spectaculoase asupra munților. Gazdele, Sid și Cristina, au fost extrem de prietenoase și implicate. Cristina gătește excelent și este foarte amabilă, iar Sid este o persoană sociabilă, cu care poți purta conversații interesante pe orice subiect.
Ne-au întâmpinat și patru prieteni necuvântători – două pisici și doi căței – dintre care Jackie, o cățelușă adorabilă, s-a dovedit a fi cel mai bun ghid montan.

Loved everything: the incredible views from the yard and room, with the moon rising from between the mountains, the quietness - we had a very good night rest, the nice hosts - Cristina and Sid - happy to help you with everything you might need and, of course, the lovely pets. Jackie, one of the dogs, was the best companion during our walks, but her sister Becky was equally funny and full of energy. The 2 cats, Blu and Missy, are also super sweet and friendly. So, if you love animals and the mountains you've just found the perfect place. We hope we'll be back soon.

Clearly the highlight of my 10 day trip. Sid and Christina were amazing and the dinners were great and convenient. You can do great hikes straight from the house and just enjoy the dreamy countryside with great company.

The invigorating air carries the primal scent of pine and the distant, solemn breath of mountain winds — a balm for the soul's deepest yearnings. Even on days of relentless rain and wind, a warmth pervades the soul here. Our splendid and generous hosts, Christina and Sid, made our stay truly memorable with their exceptional hospitality, which was marked by heartfelt sincerity. We also really enjoyed our inspiring and touching conversations with them about all manner of things. They made us feel as though we had found old friends again. Christina is a true chef who creates exceptional culinary art. Her dishes are deeply rooted in tradition yet imbued with profound thought and heart. She puts great care and passion into every dish she creates. The creatures of this haven — two soft, cuddly cats and two loyal, energetic dogs — added an indelible charm. Jackie, the older dog, is a tireless companion on mountain hikes. She is calm, brave, and confident, and guided us through endless forests, meadows, rocks, and clouds. This is a true sanctuary amidst the vastness. Every part here is uniquely characteristic, and they all come together to sing in wonderful harmony. It is a place where the human spirit can expand, free from the petty concerns of everyday life, and where the wild, majestic beauty of the landscape leaves a deep and lasting imprint on one's being.
