Another great stay, clean staff so friendly and a lovely breakfast.
Perfekte Lage
Very good location, only an 8-minute walk to Lime Street station. The room was very comfortable and clean and, even though the hotel is located above a bar, it was very quiet. Of course, our room was all the way at the end of the hall, in the back.
The lack of a lift (elevator) made it a little difficult. Fortunately, we were on the first floor so we only had the one flight of stairs to deal with. There, apparently, is NO brewed coffee for breakfast, only instant. The selections for breakfast were very limited but if you like a traditional English breakfast, you will be happy. The only other thing we didn’t like was that the bathroom sinks had separate hot and cold water taps, VERY old school. That may be quaint but it’s dangerous as you can be scalded IF you’re not careful.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, everything was very clean. Lots of tea/coffee etc available.
Rooms are a little dated, but not important considering cleanlieness, helpfulness of staff and location. Would definitely stay again

The location is good. A few steps away you're on one of the main shopping streets and close to other local attractions. Very close to the central station. The staff was very attentive and breakfast is served in the hotel's own bar.
This is a rather old hotel located in a very noisy neighborhood. Nightclubs, bars, and other establishments are right next door. Access to the rooms is via stairs, so if you're carrying luggage, be prepared for extra effort. The room is small.
