Great option in a fairly central location and with friendly service
Pros:

I stayed at Omina Hotel & Travel from 6 to 12.08.26, location-wise it’s quite central-ish, north-west of the Old Quarter, in a very busy area full of shops of all types and restaurants. There's a small Circle K just next to the hotel on the corner.
On arrival, in the late evening, I was warmly greeted by the reception duo Wayne & Tom, who were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The reception is open 24h.
My bedroom (301) was spacious, same thing for the bathroom, which had a very spacious shower. The room had a slightly outdated feeling but I didn’t mind, it was clean to a good standard.
It was equipped with the super necessary air con, fridge (very useful), safety box, TV with YouTube & Netflix and a kettle with some coffee sachets and local style tea sachets.
Excellent comfy bed. There was a handy shelf in the room on which to lay the suitcase without it taking up space on the floor.
The included breakfast had sweet and savoury options, and fruit as well. You can also order from the menu, for example an omelette or some noodles, that they prepare for you in the kitchen there and then, the portions were good, unfortunately I’m hardly ever too hungry in the morning and only took advantage of this option on two occasions, but it’s a great option nonetheless.
All the receptionists were very cool to talk to, I also arranged two excursions (Ninh Binh and Lan Ha Bay) with Vivian, she was very professional and it was a pleasure dealing with her.
I would definitely stay here again, well done to all you guys, Wayne, Tom, Victor, Vivian & Lina (not their real names)!!!

Cons:

On my 1st morning, at around 8:00, I could hear drilling and banging, on enquiring with reception I was told they were doing some works in the building next door, the receptionist apologized, but it was nothing to do with the hotel, it was just annoying that whoever was working next door couldn’t wait until later in the morning at a more acceptable time.
At around the same time, the cleaners were doing the room opposite mine across the corridor, it appeared the new hotel guests were late as they had a delay with their flight etc., so instead of arriving the previous night they were due to come in the morning, I didn’t find this a good excuse for the cleaners to make noise and talk to each other in the corridor at such an early time, disrespectful to other people who might still be sleeping. No noises during the following mornings.
There were no hooks at all in the bathroom on which to hang towels, this is inexplicably a quite common thing in many hotels, there was a towel bar on the external side of the shower door, but in my opinion this is not enough, a hook rack could easily be installed on the wall by the shower.
The kettle couldn’t be closed properly, the lid is defective, please management look into this, there’s a scolding risk as the lid opens while you are pouring the boiling water into the cups.

Lo que más me gustó fue la atención del personal. Muy amables y preocupados de cada detalle, de explicarte la ciudad, sus atractivos turísticos y en general de buscar la forma de facilitar y hacer amena la estadía.

Perfect location and amazing staff!!
Pros:

The staff were AMAZING! Christina, Vivian and Niko were so attentive during my stay, they provided a packed up breakfast for me when I was off early for a day trip, and helped me with my bags for the airport. They kept checking in with me during the stay, and were so friendly every time I passed the desk. The room was really comfortable and had a clean bathroom. Location was so amazing!!

Cons:

Everything was great, so really couldn't fault it !

c'est la deuxième fois que j'y séjourne, et il y aura probablement une troisième.
Pros:

La situation au centre du vieux quartier permet de se promener, de prendre un café, de manger bref de vivre. Chaque jour j'allais à pied jusqu'au lac en centre ville et le soir prenais un verre sur un rooftop à des dizaines d'étages de , tout autour du lac.
Et ce qui ne gâte rien le dong est tellement sous évalué par rapport à l'Euro que je me faisais masser quelquefois deux fois dans la même journée.

Enjoy your time
Pros:

I stayed at beautiful hotel with a good location,a good price,a good food, a good staffs and clean rooms every day.
Thank you so much during my stay always small talks was very comforting and helpful to know safe travel. It was night market on Fri, Sat and Sun were near the hotel. Walking distances to get a landmarks.

EXCELENTE CALIDAD-PRECIO
Pros:

A pesar de estar en pleno centro me dieron una habitación que daba a la zona interior, y además me dieron una habitación mejor por el mismo precio. Si buscas una hotel tranquilo, céntrico y con buena relación calidad-precio este es tu hotel. Reseñable la limpieza y el trato de Vivian de recepción.

Lo ofrecido por lo pagado no tengo ninguna queja.

Very helpful staff, comfy bed and incredible location!
Pros:

Bed was super comfy I had great sleep here!! Location incredible and staff were amazing especially Victor who welcomed me in late and gave me recommendations for a late dinner and where to find things. Breakfast was also very good and you can choose an item off the menu. Water refilled every day. I chose a back room as was quieter and I was glad of this after travelling a lot

The restaurant was quite warm perhaps better aircon or fans to improve

Perfect accommodation for exploring the old quarter
Pros:

The staff was very polite, smiling and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, big enough for two people. The breakfast was also good, with a wide variety of warm dishes. The position was perfect, very central with a lot to see walk distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

スタッフ全員がフレンドリー、翻訳機を適切に、有効に使い対応してくれた。チェックイン時から、細やかな心遣いにビックリ、その後も突然の雷雨、移動手段を迅速に手配、予定どおり人形劇がみられた。朝食もうまい、配膳、片付けの動作も美しい。一人旅にとって、心暖まる家族に出会えた。

Pros:

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und generell ausnahmslos sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist fußläufig schnell an allen interessanten Punkten im Old Quarter.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist klein aber fein, aber zum essen sind wir nicht ins Hotel gekommen.

Cons:

Der einzige minimale Kritikpunkt ist, dass es morgens schon sehr früh sehr hell im Zimmer wurde, da die Jalousien des kleinen Fensters nicht sehr dicht sind. Aber das hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht verschlechtert!
