Breakfast is always very good,and staff will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs.Much appreciated. I have been going to this hotel for a number of years now and always look forward to my next visit.Well done and keep up the good work Team IOM!👍

Cons:

What i would maybe suggest to have in the room would be a small fridge for light soft drinks and a variety of snacks. Although I do enjoy the tunnocks teacakes!😋

Lovely hotel with excellent service and staff
Pros:

Wonderfully professional staff who went the extra mile. Great restaurant and excellent dinner and breakfast, with sea views. Spa was clean and had everything we needed.
Real coffee in room!

Convenient for ferry terminal to Oban.
Pros:

Free parking on-site no problem. Room was clean, comfortable beds, bathroom clean, shower adequate. Spa treatment pre-purchased (separate company - not the hotel - but on-site) was good. Close to the ferry terminal.

Cons:

The room was down two flights of stairs at the end of a corridor. We were unable to book a place in the restaurant due to "two large parties" taking up the whole space - in spite of being prepared to eat then and there and to be out in 30 minutes - before the "large parties" were due.. We sat in the bar at low tables, same menu and had to pay when booking made. Prices were high, could only buy a full bottle of Pinot Grigio wine to accompany the meal. The hotel was obviously geared towards "large bookers". In the morning, we found the kettle had leaked the water in it all over the table top.

Excellent position within walking distance of the ferry.
Pros:

Very pleasant reception staff, in particular, Holly. The location is excellent, we enjoyed walking down to the foreshore. The heated pool. Food in the restaurant was high standard and good value.

Cons:

Disappointed there were no cask ales in the bar. The sound proofing in the rooms isn't brilliant, we were woken by door slamming guests talking loudly in the room beneath at 1am. However , I hasten to add this was not the fault of the hotel, we were just unlucky.

Amazing staff, food and views
Pros:

The rooms are a good size and all have a great view! The food was excellent and the staff were amazing!

Cons:

The spa felt a bit run down but we didn’t go specifically for that. I would recommend going if your sole reason is to have a relaxing spa weekend.

super cozy hotel on mull!
Pros:

the room was so cozy & the staff was so welcoming! we didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel because we were out exploring, but it was a wonderful place to return to after our adventures during the day. it was so quiet and peaceful.

*the only thing i would note is we had to go up & down several stairs to get to our room - i'm sure they note this somewhere in the listing and I just missed it. it was manageable but i was surprised*

A lovely comfortable hotel with excellent food. Small lapses let the overall experience down.
Pros:

Location and lovely interior.

Cons:

Some of the staff were not very professional. They gossiped in the dining room. Some staff seemed stressed which led them to rush things eg measuring and pouring wine in a rush which spilled over the glasses and not wiping them. It was not would you expect in a hotel of this calibre.
