Cool spot in every respect!
Pros:

Excellent location and pleasant, helpful staff. I was able to check in early too. The bed was so comfortable. Given the exceptionally hot weather, the air conditioning in the room was blissful! I was sorry I was only staying one night.

Cons:

There was nothing not to like!!

Would stay again!
Pros:

Good location, kind staff, enjoyed the energy saving aspect and comfortable beds , love when water is left in the rooms. LOVED the soap / shampoo / conditioner.

Cons:

The way the sink faucet is it hits the mirror which is a bit of a design flaw it seems.

Pros:

I liked the lake except it was very dirty. Room was nice and comfortable. Staff were super friendly

Cons:

Well I booked a birthday trip and paid 80 euro extra for some balloons and some prosecco . Okay prosecco was nice but deserts were left out with happy birthday and they were just left out there. Champagne was left in the sun as with the water. I got a tiny happy birthday banner above the bed and three balloons . I was expecting more but other then that the property was alright for a one night stay

Comfortable, quiet and cosy hotel
Pros:

Comfortable, quiet and well-located hotel with cosy rooms and a good restaurant attached. Wide choice of breakfast food and great value booking ahead.

Cons:

The 'rain shower' could've been been powerful. The TV was unable to cast from my device despite following following instructions. The quality of some of the breakfast items, particularly the soda bread (which tasted like greasy fried bread) and sausages wasn't great.

Overall, a Good Experience! ✨
Pros:

The breakfast was outstanding, plenty of choices. The room was a good size and ours included a bathtub to soak. The front desk staff at check-in and departure were all lovely. The wifi was consistently strong. The hotel location was a plus, also.

Cons:

The thermostat in the room was a little bit temperamental. The restaurant terrace has potential, though it could be better maintained to sit and enjoy a drink at sunset.

I paid for my room in cash at the very start to a lady in reception and then after our stay we left and about half an hour later the same lady rang telling me I never paid even tho I did I was very humiliated in front of my boyfriend it was suppose to be a fun weekend for him which just ruined the day. I was mortified in front of my boyfriend. It took a lot of time to earn the money for the room and trying to get off work at the same time for both of us. Completely ruined the whole weekend. Then the receptionist told me to wait until she went and checked to see if I did pay which she then came back and told me I did actually pay which made me very annoyed and angry as it was a surprise trip for my boyfriends birthday. I felt disgusted.

Pros:

We previously stayed at the Voco in October and overall enjoyed the stay. The restaurant staff for breakfast and Sunday evening as well as the reception have all been fantastic.

The rooms had been kept superbly clean and the bed was very soft with a lovely thick blanket to keep out the evening chill.

The air con was was easily controlled to ensure the room could be kept at a nice comfortable temperature.

Cons:

Again we had a few issues regarding the bar, restaurant and room service.

We had ordered room service in Monday evening. After 45 minutes we received a photo call to advise that the order has been delayed and we would need to wait a further for 20 minutes for food. We decided to cancel the order as this was too much of a delay.

Wednesday evening we decided to use the restaurant again as well had really enjoyed the food Sunday and the service has been excellent. This time however we did not receive our drinks for over 40 minutes, we had already received our main course by this time. After food we asked for the bill and again this was followed by a 20 minute wait. In total 2 drinks, and a 2 course meal as well as the bill took nearly 2 hours.

We experienced the exact same situation during our last stay with a long delay in waiting for the bill.
