Het hotel werd gerenoveerd. In de mail die we via Booking hadden ontvangen werd dit ons medegedeeld. Tevens stond er in dat ze ervoor zouden zorgen dat de gasten zo min mogelijk last van zouden hebben. Het was te triest voor woorden. Het vervangende ontbijt was een aanfluiting. Twee platte croissantjes en twee andere ondefinieerbare broodjes, een kuipje appelmoes in een tas aan je deur. Koffie en sap op de gang. Echt waardeloos. Toen ik bij de receptie ging vragen of dit het was, was het antwoord ja, sorry. We hebben het tasje op de kamer laten liggen en hebben voor ons eigen ontbijt gezorgd. De parkeergarage van het hotel is erg laag en krap. Zeker met een dakkoffer is het centimeter werk. Voor ons een dikke NEE

Comfortable bed and aircon.

Contacted just 2 days before our stay, when it was too late to cancel with a message that said they were 'delighted' to announce major renovations. So no breakfast room or bar, instead a paper bag with a few pastries hung on your door handle with some processed fruit compote. Disgusting. Drinks from a machine on the landing. Bathroom water was only tepid at best and no applology or rectification. But, worst of all, when we arrived we were short of credit on our prepaid card so paid 50% and were told we could pay the balance in the morning when we had topped up our card. Leaving our room in the morning a member of the management was lurking near our room and entered the lift with us to the lobby. It was obvious that they thought we were going to leave without settling our bill. Totally outrageous! Terrible place. We've never had an experience like it. Stay at your peril.

Gutes Hotel mit fairem Preis
Pros:

Das Hotel war gut zu finden und liegt nicht mitten im touristischen Trubel. Dennoch sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten, Gärten und die Altstadt fußläufig gut erreichbar.
Die Tiefgarage für 9,- € wäre vielleicht nicht nötig gewesen, aber so war der vollgepackte Wagen gut und nah untergebracht.
Wir hatten ein behindertengerechtes Zimmer, welches großzügig war. Laut der Fotos des Hotels sah das Zimmer jedoch anderen Zimmer sehr ähnlich. Die Farben des Hotels sind frisch und die Badezimmer geräumig. Das Bett war bequem und das Zimmer zum Hof sehr ruhig.
Frühstück gab es in einem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Raum. Es war reichhaltig und der Kaffee gut.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich fair.

Cons:

Einzig die Teppiche in den Zimmern sind nicht so angenehm. Schwierig sauber zu halten und nicht angenehm im Sommer.
Alles andere war voll in Ordnung.
