Perfect 3 days in Cape Town

Perfect spot for a very good holiday! Everything was perfect, starting with the room of huge dimensions.

Reservamos um quarto por 6 dias, de 26/4 a 1/5, no entanto por imperativos de saúde tivemos de fazer o check-out dois dias antes. Uma semana antes do check-in comunicamos tal preocupação tanto a Booking (sem qualquer resposta) e ao Hotel. Aquando do check-in voltamos a manifestar a mesma preocupação na recepção do hotel, tendo nos sido informado que caso vendessem as últimas duas noites a um outro cliente, reembolsariam-nos o valor através do cartão de crédito. No dia do check-in voltamos a manifestar a mesma preocupação mas até ao momento não fomos contactados pelo hotel e muito menos pelo booking.com. Ultimamente é praticamente impossivel entrar em contacto com a booking para alterar a reserva. No passado era possivel contactar até por via telefónica, facto que é de lamentar.

Phenomenal - do yourself a favour and book

Everything about Steenberg was fantastic, we spent 5 nights there in April and would happily have stayed another 5! The staff are phenomenal, so friendly, welcoming and warm. We loved our room and the turndown service each night. Breakfast was superb, accompanied by views over the mountains. There were also brilliant small touches, such as a shuttle into cape town and being booked for dinner in the delicious Tryn after a long flight

Cons:

I'm scraping the barrel but the shampoo and conditioner weren't my favourite and the pool is in the shade - but, if you're a sun worshipper like me, there's a sunny patch to the side
