Dinner and breakfast were delicious with an amazing view of rice terrace. Trung is a lovely host ! And the organize tour was really great 😁

Incredible views and such kind hosts! We enjoyed many delicious meals looking over the rice terraces below. The location is gorgeous, the beds were comfy and had a canopy for mosquitoes (we didn’t see any in the room). Be prepared to be a bit outside of town (you will want a motorbike to come and go with ease), but it’s worth it for the views over La Pan Tan!

Amazing hosts who looked after us so well. Homemade traditional breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Location and views outstanding. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Large bathroom. We didn't do any long treks but ideal for us as could do an hour loop around the village, La Pan. Had an amazing morning with a Hmong family (host's grandmother and sister) learning to paint with bees wax( used on traditional skirt worn) and making sticky rice treats. Host organised bus back to Hanoi and also taxi pick up and drop off which was good as we had no idea where we were going. The information received prior to our visit was really helpful. Go and visit this area and stay with Hueng and his family, an experience to won't regret.

The property has exceptional views from the rooms and from the ‘restaurant’. The rooms were very clean, very lovely warm shower and comfortable beds. It is pretty remote so we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there everyday. We are vegetarian and one gluten free and they accommodated us exceptionally well, cooking us different delicious dishes everyday. We felt so well looked after.

The owners were so lovely and very attentive, they can organise transport, expeditions, food etc. even packed us a breakfast for our early bus journey.

We can really recommend the day trekking around the hills and rice terraces - we went out of season (March) and it was still incredible. Our guide, Thung (unsure of spelling, sorry!), was a very knowledgable local Hmong man. He said his English wasn’t good but we disagree - we were able to chat all day, and he answered all of our questions about rice farming and Hmong culture with ease. One of our highlights of our trip for sure!

Unique, epic location

The host family were great. Very warm and attentive. The view from the property was outstanding. We really enjoyed the meals as well. We did some fabulous walks around the area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
