Pros:

All the staff were excellent

Cons:

No hot water in some of the showers. Lots of mosquitoes in the rooms in the old part of the hotel. Communication before booking was a bit hard (we had a large group). Communication between the booking staff and the reception staff could be better.

The staff is nice and friendly but a person failed in a moment that is important not to.

The main building looks nice but I was assigned a room in a different building completely outdated and not like in the pictures.

Cons:

I had a room in a different building and it's completely outdated. The doors are very noisy, the walls separating other rooms are like paper.
On the first there was no water to have a shower, I waited until 23:00 and finally managed.
On the second night there was water but not hot and no pressure.
The afternoon before the departure day I asked to book a taxi to the airport, I requested a private taxi not shared. They confirmed a private taxi (10usd) for the time I requested and also a breakfast box since it was early.
On the departure day at the arranged time, no taxi and no breakfast box.
A few minutes later someone said that there would be a taxi for another guest a bit later. Obviously they charged me 10 usd and also the other guest for just one car and they knew it in advance since they have just one car.
It's a pity because the place has a beautiful restaurant and nice building but they hide these things.
Definitely not a place that I can recommend even though everyone working there is very nice despite the lack of professionalism.

Sweet local hotel in an older building with a great (but hidden) restaurant
Pros:

Lovely staff. Comfortable, very clean rooms. Outstanding restaurant which is not at all easy to find- must get reception to lead you there or you will end up incorrectly at either the cafe on the street or the Chinese burger restaurant a few doors down.

Cons:

Shower not working in 1 room and pretty trickly in the other. Breakfast not great except you can order eggs which was good.

A beautiful stay in Dili, excellent value and a great cause.
Pros:

Such beautiful staff who were all very friendly and happy to help. They organised our lift from the port then to the airport and even arranged a driver to take us around which was a big help. The building itself is lovely and I highly recommend eating at the restaurant. Definitely recommend!

Cons:

Being picky here but the pillows were a little uncomfortable and the bathroom could be slightly improved.

Pros:

* Staff: All the hotel staff members were incredibly friendly, including the front desk team, breakfast crew, and housekeeping team, who were always so welcoming.

* Dining: Delicious dinner and dessert at the Mana Restaurant with fantastic value for money.

* Stay: Stayed for seven nights (six in a single room, new wing; one in a standard king room, old wing). The mattresses in both rooms are pleasantly firm and supportive, which is the type I prefer.

* Location: Close to a supermarket and the Lecidere waterfront promenade.

* Service recovery: After the airport pickup issue, the hotel kindly allowed me to check in early and offered a complimentary breakfast that morning. I deeply appreciated this thoughtful gesture to resolve the situation.

* Special thanks: Deepest gratitude to Antonio and Carolina for their genuine kindness and assistance.

Cons:

* Airport pickup issue: My airport pickup was missed, despite prior confirmation. Thanks to a kind SIM card vendor at the airport who helped call the hotel, it was sorted out.

* Water pressure: The water flow in the shower was a bit weak during my stay. I didn’t particularly dislike this—just sharing as a quick reference for potential guests.

Excellent hotel, great location and breakfast. Wonderful staff. Rooms are spacious and well laid out. I would stay here again

Cons:

Be mindful that their organised transport is not reliable and have a backup plan. Their airport car did not pick us up due to a mix-up, a taxi they ordered to go to the ferry port arrived 30 mins late, and our car going to the airport was never confirmed and didn’t arrive - organise transport early and have a backup plan
