Breakfast buffet and menu range
One member of the dining room staff seemed to ignore me two days running, serving four other tables before me.
Loved the old building and bed very comfy
The hot breakfast off the menu was really good but the cold buffet was a bit basic.
Lage war super, netter kleiner Spaziergang in die Stadt- trotz aktueller Baustelle an unserer Front - ruhig. Gratis Parkplatz am Gelände war fein.

Staff were not very pleasant :( During breakfast, we stood waiting for a seat while a staff member (an older lady with red hair) strolled past us multiple times without acknowledging us. A simple “I’ll be with you in one moment” would have sufficed. After finally taking our order, we witnessed her be extremely welcoming and helpful to other guests waiting for a seat. We understand being busy, but her attitude should have been the same with EVERY guest then. She cleaned off other guests’ dirty plates while ignoring our table until another staff member cleaned off our table. This confirmed for us that she did not want to wait on us.
Other incident with staff^^ When checking in, a blonde lady staff member was not very welcoming and quite short with us. She kinda glanced at us like we were lost and not in the right place.
The whole ordeal felt prejudiced and I don't EVER use that word lightly. Management was notified and I hope that behavior is corrected as NO paying guest should feel ostracized or less than.
Room. Very big however the shower didn't drain so water made its way out of the bathroom literally flooding the floor… We were told that’s because the building is old and there's nothing they can do :/
Food. Lunch was decent however the club chicken sandwich was on HARD toasted bread and the chicken was boiled/bland. Breakfast wasn’t good. The buffet wasn't stocked properly. And the omelette, I ordered tasted bland and cold. They don't appear to source their food locally as I saw a Sysco truck ):
We don't recommend anyone coming here, and we won't be returning.
Perhaps air conditioning would be on the cards per say going forward.
Het hotel is oud en straalt wat vergane glorie uit. Maar... als je daar doorheen kijkt zie je de charme van bijvoorbeeld de bibliotheekkasten in de bar, en de boiserie tegen de muren. Alles is ook goed onderhouden en netjes. Onze kamer had ook een balkon met prachtig uitzicht over het oude stadscentrum.
Geen tegenvaller, alleen een opmerking. Het hotel ligt een stuk hoger dan het stadscentrum. Afstand is maar een kleine kilometer, maar het is een steile klim terug ;-)
The staff were superb, the location is excellent, the bar and restaurant are beautifully laid out. The bedroom was big, clean and modern with all the usual accessories
Perhaps consider face flannels as part of the bathroom towel service.

Las vistas de nuestra habitación. No tuvimos suerte. A un lado los contenedores d basura del.hotel y al otro no podíamos abrir xq entraba mucho el olor de cocina..cuando.llegamos estaba abierta una de esas ventanas y olía muchisimo. Muy desagradable. La otra habitación q teníamos era perfecta.
La ubicación sin estar en el.centro, era llevadera la vuelta.
