Grote kamer
Nice house, public areas nicely decorated.
Few pubs, coffee shop, a wine tavern close by - no need to walk 20 minutes to city center
My 1st breakfast (avocado on toast) was perfect. The second one was „poor“ - the white bread was not even toasted.
The staff was friendly and engaged but it was clearly lacking management and organizational skills.
The night porter Don , was the only good thing about this hotel
He is great and a pleasure to be around.
Room - musty
No food after 9
Arrived for breakfast at 9.55 - told it was closed , was not even 10 at that point .
Breakfast was poor
Nothing good about this hotel at all except for the nignt porter Don.
Would not stay here again or recommend it. Very very poor and way way over priced
Large bedroom with comfortable beds in a beautiful repurposed building.
Nice selection of hot food for breakfast.
Room was a perfect temperature. Beds were so comfortable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Bar food was really nice. The night porter was so accommodating and friendly.
The walk to the hotel is up a huge hill.
A heritage property, very spacious room, renovated with charm. Great staff and good gym and sauna and off street parking. Situated high above the city with spectacular views in Saint Luke's, Cork.
Up high on the hill, whilst great views, it was challenging at times to and from the city centre about a 25 min walk. A 15 minute walk from the train station up hill, I'd take an uber or taxi.
It’s a wonderful building
Nothing
Great hotel, friendly staff, lovely spacious room and comfy bed.
The room was set to the back of the hotel next to the kitchen vents, so meant there was the smells and clatter from the kitchen
