Rooms were clean and good location near the station. Bathroom in particular was nice.
Part of a pub/live music venue, so as you can imagine, gets quite noisy at night and smells heavily of beer - although this is to be expected.
It was a good location for a party we were attending in Balham
It was quite a noisy room - I don’t think that it is made clear that the pub is attached to a nightclub which goes on until 2am. The carpets also were not v clean - stained from previous guests and was curling up in places. The tray in the shower was not v appealing as it looked v unclean. May have been a stain but still didn’t look great!
De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De gunstige locatie vlakbij ov vervoer. De vrij ruime kamer voor Londen begrippen - met airco (tijdens een hittegolf). De showbiz-inrichting. De historie van het gebouw. Het ruime bed. Makkelijk in en uit checken.
De douche. De douchekop was niet in orde. Het water spoot alle kanten op, behalve een goede douchestraal. En de temperatuur was lastig te regelen.
Dit is geen verblijf voor lichte slapers. Het is gelegen boven een podium en aan een weg en het spoor. Ik heb geen last van deze stadsgeluiden. Er liggen ook oordopjes naast het bed.
This is a great option for a couple spending a weekend in London. It is right next to the Balham station which is connected to the tube and ideal for travel around the city. The area is lovely and there are lots of nearby shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars (including the one downstairs which is the main event). The room was quite glamorous with great facilities, bathroom and well serviced by cleaners. There was one kind lady in particular who asked us on multiple occasions whether we needed our room cleaned and we found it nice that she offered.
The hotel is in a pub, up a couple of flights of stairs, which mightn’t be for everyone. My partner struggled initially with his suitcase, as the lift didn’t reach our floor. I think that the staff finish when the pub closes but there is an emergency number. Also something to be conscious of in case there is a staff member needed on short notice. Otherwise the place is great!

Nel bagno il piatto doccia non era molto pulito.
Non si poteva utilizzare l'ascensore dopo le 22:00 perchè all'interno del PUB che a quell'ora era chiuso.
