The property was just beautiful and peaceful! We had a room with a balcony that over looked the grounds and the view of the marsh!
There was nothing that I didn’t like
I Loved Everything about this Beautiful Place!
Nothing!
Two nice small pools on ground level in the back. Very clean building. Good price for this area
Room was next to lobby and not very soundproof at all. However, fortunately, it is a smaller hotel and not a lot of people going into the lobby. Sometimes I could hear every word back and forth from conversations of other guests either from parking lot, lobby, or other room. Again, fortunately, other guests mostly behaved and were not rowdy.
The place is nice secluded just enough but close to stuff
The pool was dirty and the place is a bit dilapidated needs some tlc
My shower never had hot water at all and through the two days that I was there I tried several different times of the day they need to replace their hot water heater. I told the front desk about it on the first day that I was there and they told me they would issue me a refund and I haven't gotten it yet. My room said it would have a balcony and it did but it was about as big enough for one person to get on and it was on the corner. There is no food or breakfast here they do not have any food on the property whatsoever. Also there is no beach access you have to get in the car and drive down the road to get to the beach they do not have beach access that belongs to the hotel. The hot tub side of the swimming pool is exactly that a swimming pool it never got warm and when you turn the Jets and the blowers on that's exactly all you get and it's blowing and swimming pool water. The parking lot is extremely small. I would go ahead and say compact cars only really. They have a huge beautiful dock that face is the river but they tell you you can't fish so I'm not sure what the world the dock is for. It would be a great place for a marina. The only thing I was impressed with is how old the property looked I thought that it was historical and when I looked it up it was built in the early 2000s so it wasn't even historical it just looks historic. This baby right here is kind of like fool's Gold.
It has 2 pools and the rooms were nice. The bed was very soft.
Although the property is across the street from the beach the only access is over a half a mile away and the parking was full.
No breakfast served, only cartons of milk, water and coffee. The advertisement said room did include breakfast so that was disappointing.
Our room was so comfortable. We did not want to leave. And the young lady that treated us upon arrival. She was very kind, and helpful.
Not having access to their pool.
The rooms were beautiful and very clean and I like the historic look
I feel it needs to be just a little more smoke friendly I think you should be able to smoke on your own balcony and I think each room should have it’s own microwave and clear out some of the brush in the back
Nothing really. Photos are very misleading. The parking lot is extremely small. Our room must’ve been the smallest. It’s giving remodeled large house made into a glorified hostel.
Our room was very small and hot. Our bathroom had one window with no cover at all, facing the road. The bed made so much noise the minute you sat on it.
Location away from tourist traffic. Nice room, comfortable bed
Not much in the way of amenities, really
the check in was easy
our balcony over looked the lagoon
there are no screens on the doors and the windows do not open
the air conditioner worked fine
there is no immediate access to the ocean from this location however, a few miles down the road heading east was a nice park were we watched the sunrise
the jackuzzi worked well
no open windows
It was quaint and nice.
The place needs to have some attention to detail. Also the listing says its within walking distance to the sights and its 8+ miles to anything. The road noise was so disturbing trying to sleep. Hot water didn't work the first night but they finally fixed it the 2nd night.
location and price value
Room tight with oversized furniture, I will stay again but on the top floor.
