Great Property, location, and Owners!
Pros:

Great property and the Owners were wonderful! We had family call ahead to surprise us with champagne and sweets and the owners went out of their way to arrange for the purchase and set them up in our room with a typed message. They were very responsive with questions or suggestions. Will definitely book there again in the future if ever in Galveston.

All was great.

Would not advise a stay here.
Pros:

We never saw anyone. Our Uber went down an alley with homeless everywhere. We had some difficulty finding the hotel.we struggled up a few stairs with heavy luggage. The lockbox did not operate easily.

Room 2 had a dirty, smelly rug, and the mattress on the bed allowed you to sink in with no support.Not to be overly critical, but the comforted seemed to be from the 1950’s. We left at 10:30 am the next morning, never seeing a single hotel employee.

I am unsure how to interpret the reviews, which were generally positive. This is not like Maryann or Ginger. This is black and white with no grey. Even the Motel 6 that we stayed during Spring break would be an improvement.

Caveat Emptor-or am I missing something?

This was the perfect place for a little getaway weekend with my husband.
Pros:

This charming boutique hotel was perfect! We loved everything about it! Also, it was in a very convenient location-close to The Strand and also close to several restaurants in the neighborhood.

Great locations to the Stand. All within walking distance. Felt very safe walking around. Beautiful downtown area lots
Pros:

Close to downtown. Nice and quiet. Very clean. Very close to the port we walked to our ship it was only a 15 min walk. Communication with owners was excellent

Cons:

There was nothing we did not. Would definitely stay again

I felt very safe. I loved the total online experience. facility had everything I needed. It was very comfortable and easy and the location is perfect. Thank you. I will be back.

Cons:

this was not a problem but wanted to let the owner know that the door to room 2 makes a loud noise when opened.

La cama es muy cómoda, al igual que la limpieza.

Cons:

La cafetera nunca la pudimos poner a funcionar, no hay personal de manera física. De acuerdo al anuncio creímos que era un hotel. Entras y sales por tu cuenta.

Gorgeous Stay near Cruise Port!
Pros:

The decor was beautifully & intentionally done, check-in process was clearly stated and there were great amenities: (printer, so you can print off your cruise luggage tags by downloading the Canon print app), washer, dryer, elliptical, stationary bike, ice machine, drinking glasses, and patio area! Gorgeous place! Plus, it was near a convenience store, restaurants, shopping, and walking distance to cruise port!

Cons:

Some of the electrical cords were daisy-chained.
