Stuffy bathroom, worn bedroom carpet.
Beautiful surroundings
Superb accommodation located just outside of Gatehouse, but close to a beautiful forest walk that leads you into the town centre. We stayed in the deluxe family suite, and it was really lovely. The enormous master bedroom and the large twin bedroom made for a comfortable stay. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated and very spacious. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. Cally Palace is a lovely hotel, full of charm with crisp, clean sheets, good food and a lovely ambience.
The only change I recommend is providing freshly brewed coffee at breakfast. Making our own via a coffee machine seemed a bit odd, given the quality of the hotel.
It would have been a little better if bed was bigger
Eine wirklich sehr tolle und ruhige Lage.
Das Zimmer war zwar nicht sehr groß aber ausreichend. Dafür gab es eine Badewanne, das war super. Das Zimmer befand sich im 4 Stockwerk, jedoch mit dem Lift leicht erreicht.
Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und ausgiebig.

Friend put in a rubbish room other side of the building.
Mattresses need renewing.
Food was lovely, as we're staff. Room was amazing.
I slipped in the hot tub (no handle to hold) and tore a hamstring... Very painful and kinda ruined my stay. Not the hotel's fault, but I think I wasn't the only one who fell, even while I was there, so perhaps they could take a look at that facility.
Spacious,spotlessly clean accommodation in a wonderful setting overlooking its own golf course and grounds.

The hotel grounds are simply stunning. An old style country mansion with excellent facilities sitting in a beautiful location. The breakfast was very good , we didn't eat at night so can't comment on the evening meal .
I would recommend booking a room with a balcony, sitting at night looking out was just so relaxing. Plenty car parking spaces and. We will definitely visit again.
Lovely building in beautiful grounds. Large, comfortable room. Large, well maintained swimming pool, sauna, hot-tub. Friendly, helpful staff.

Great location. The receptionist was exceptional and went out her way to help. Food was fabulous. Lovely Sunday dinner menu . Felt very comfortable with our dogs as a dog friendly lounge and dining area was available. Drcor was a bit dated, but it suited the place. We will visit again soon as its an ideal stop on our way to Isle of Whithorn
The location , the pool and jacuzzi, roomd were huge , balcony brilliant food and staff .
Unfortunately, the duvet cover was a winter duvet , they were far to hot and heavy for summer , so summer light weight ones would do the job , also a nice touch would be pillow selection firm , medium or soft . We were bitten a lot outside , not sure what can be for about that . Maybe install bat boxes on trees .
