Perfect location
Pros:

Friendly and accommodating host. Situated in an idyllic setting on the canal, and with a canal view from the room window. The room was spotless, comfortable, with an ensuite, and private entrance. Would definitely recommend.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like.

Friendly, comfortable, clean and I enjoyed myself. Simple.
Pros:

I felt so comfortable, had a lovely evening in the bar and made some new friends. The new people that have taken over are so warm and friendly. The room was spotless and comfortable and to be fair for the price I paid far exceeded my expectations. They were so accommodating when I was hungry after being at a funeral all day and I’m a bit gutted I didn’t try one of the lovely cobs and pork pies in the fridge. I will definitely use this as my little place to stay when visiting family and friends in the area again. I get anxious and I loved it here, I was very comfortable and happy, even on my own.

Cons:

There’s nothing that I didn’t like to be honest. I certainly am not going to complain about what I got there. They’re ace.

Recent Stourport stay.
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

This pub has recently changed hands it seems with the new owner being in residence since June. Other than breakfast, despite the Booking description, there was no food! Our room was clean, but the bed could only be accessed on one side. Clearance on the other side was about six inches. The new owner said the seller had run the business into the ground. A refurbishment is just starting, and we wish her well, but I think she has a struggle on her hands.

Lovely staff - Ellie very welcoming. Gave us complimentary cappuccino and pot of tea in the morning which was a nice touch

No food served in pub - unable to get an evening meal or breakfast.
Room was hot due to weather - would benefit from air conditioning

Wonderful place to stay right by the canal and bike friendly too!
Pros:

This is a wonderful place to stay - right on the canal. Great pub underneath and such welcoming staff. Lovely outside seating areas too. Our room had a lovely view, plenty of space and really comfortable. No problem about storing our bikes overnight. And best of all, when my husband left his specs behind, the landlady posted them back to us. We would go back!

The first time we stayed at this establishment, we were provided with breakfast. It would have been nice to get the same instead of having to go searching for somewhere else to eat before heading home.
