Perfect relaxing stay.
Pros:

Location is so beautiful. Our room was one that had been renovated to a high standard. The colour choices were very relaxing.
Staff were friendly. Breakfast and evening meal was very tasty and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again.

An excellent hotel with character in a beautiful location, great staff and excellent food available.
Pros:

Room was large. Decor and furniture look a little dated but that adds to the charm of this hotel. The hotel is very comfortable and easy going. The staff were very friendly, hardworking and helpful. Nearby are beaches and some shops. There are pleasant walks available along the coast. The restaurant is large but the food was excellent.

Cons:

A little disappointing to have to pay extra for pets as if they are well behaved it's unlikely more cleaning cost is incurred. A number of other places we stayed at did not charge extra. Top tip is to eat before the coach parties do as some items on the menu run out and it gets busy in the restaurant.

Disappointing stay
Pros:

Large hotel with some rooms refurbished. Guy on reception was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Unfortunately our stay for one night was not as planned.
The shower tap fell apart in the first room which had been refurbished and with a sea view, we were given.
The second room was at the back of the hotel and hadn’t been refurbished. For the price we paid this was not a great result. No offer of a cost reduction for the inconvenience and change in room quality.
Meals- We decided to eat at the hotel as it was raining and we arrived late afternoon. The dinner was ok but very overpriced for the quality. The breakfast was buffet and better than the dinner. However, the staff in the dining room need training in the word “service”. The older male server was the only friendly, attentive one.
Disappointing stay.

Comfortable Hotel for an overnight stop
Pros:

We had a lovely large room at the front of the building with a beautiful view.
The hotel had a relaxed atmosphere and nice places to sit in.
It was opposite a lovely beach which we walked along.
We were there when it was hot so it was nice to be able to open our windows.

Loved the feeling in this amazing historical building
Pros:

We got in super late and night staff member was great! Very helpful. Room was large size. Loved the old building, felt like a Time Machine in the entrance and dining, ball room areas! So nice to see. The shower was in the bath - not an issue for us, but maybe for some. This property allows pets, so we did encounter some barking dogs at night- not huge issue for us. Loved the ocean view. Big windows to soak it up. Basic ammenities for tea and coffee and biccies. We loved the stairs here - original setting.

Un peu dans son jus et l’isolation sonore n’est pas la meilleure mais c’est le cas partout globalement. La vue était vraiment imprenable et la chambre très confortable

Fantastic location with great views as far out as Skye.
Check out the wee harbour, fantastic boat trips around the loch.

Cons:

The shower didn’t extend higher for tall people. It appears a popular hotel given location & can be quite busy.

Enjoyed the stay. Did not enjoy the relaxing evening in the bar.
Pros:

Fantastic location with sea view. Clean and spacious.
Receptionist and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

Bedrooms are a bit small to accommodate suitcases which most travellers in this part of the country carry with them. Bar staff did were not at all friendly as they should be in their profession.

Es war kein guter Aufenthalt

Die Lage direkt am See war sehr schön

Cons:

Wir wurden in einem Zimmer untergebracht, welches normalerweise nicht vermietet wird. Dementsprechend hat es dort ausgesehen: der Boden und die Wände waren schmutzig und es roch äußerst unangenehm.
Fas Personal war wenig kooperativ.
