Pros:

Had a lovely stay over with my son, really enjoyed the spa and pool facilities and breakfast was superb

Cons:

The only minor downside was having to pay for parking. The car park was large and not particularly busy, so complimentary parking for guests would have been appreciated. It wouldn't stop me from staying again, but the additional charge felt a little unnecessary.

かなり早く着いたにもかかわらず、用意できているお部屋に速やかに通してくださいました。また、自然豊かなロケーションもよく、落ち着きました。

お部屋のケトルの中が汚かったことと、なぜか二日目から電気がつかなくなったことは、困った点でした。

Clean, comfortable and quiet at the edge of town
Pros:

Lobby was open and welcoming. On the edge of town near pasture and set back from the road, so nice surroundings and quiet. Room was large with comfortable chairs and sofa.

Cons:

No way to turn on a reading light in the room without turning on all lights.

Lovely hotel and great location
Pros:

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly, especially the guy at breakfast! He was a real character!
The location is a 10 minute walk into the city, alongside the river, which we enjoyed. There’s also a regular bus service outside.

A lovely weekend away and a perfect city break!
Pros:

Amazing staff, friendly, responsive and couldn’t be more helpful. Once we moved rooms(see below) we were delighted with the room, peace and superb cleanliness. So close to the city which was amazing!

Cons:

Our first room (11) was next door to the housekeeping team room, storage and facilities. At 7am they began preparing for the day and the door banged every few minutes as team members went in and out so no lie in and definitely not peaceful. We spoke to the duty manager (Claire) who apologised (gave us a free breakfast) and immediately moved us and we then had a wonderful & peaceful weekend with a lie in on Sunday! Can’t praise Claire and all of the staff enough! Amazing team!

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Great location from city centre. Spacious hotel, with horses in surrounding fields.

Cons:

Room was not ready at check in time, which impacted an evening event we were attending & not ideal after long drive to the hotel.

Pros:

The location was lovely being near to the river.
The room was comfortable and very clean.
We enjoyed using the bar area, especially in the sunshine 🌞 We had 2 meals in the restaurant which were fine.but not exceptionall.
This was our 5th stay, so it was a nice surprise to get free parking when we checked out.
