Lovely staff in a pretty good hotel.
Pros:

Easy access from the motorway. Great local amenities. Staff were excellent and super helpful. Great breakfast.

Cons:

Stayed for one night almost exactly a week earlier (same number of people and rooms) for almost half the price we paid for this stay. Don’t appreciate this kind of dynamic pricing. Restaurant food was not up to scratch and too expensive.

Pros:

very comfortable bed, clean room, quiet.

Cons:

aircon filters perhaps need changing\cleaning. my brother's sinuses were blocked by morning and his breathing and eyes were affected leaving him feeling unwell. Symptoms took a day to clear when we checked out.

The staff are working well (in challenging circumstances) to keep up the standard expected

Air conditioning the room which was working properly - a saviour in the current heat wave

Cons:

The dining area faces south and takes the full force of the sun and it consequently is uncomfortable from lunch time onwards as any air conditioning was overcome by the heat. We ate evening meals in nearby ( air conditioned ) establishments As heatwaves will become the norm in the future I would recommend installation of external shutters or awnings

Comfy and cool, could have been better.
Pros:

Only hotel with air con in the heatwave. Room was so cool, it was fabulous. Beds comfortable.

Cons:

Shower head sprayed into cubicle wall despite trying to move it. Was impossible to shower unless you held it. No clean cups or tea/coffee refresh each day unless asked.
Option for breakfast at £16, local Toby Carvery offers for £6, 5 min walk away.
