This is a great stop on your way up or down the peninsula, but it has some faults.
Pros:

Great location for exploring the desert. It has an old historic hacienda feel and the drinks served are potent. Staff were very friendly.

Cons:

As you walk by the hotel restrooms, you can smell sewage. The gentlemen who maintain the pool area are talking with full voices as they work in the early am. This only bothered me out of empathy for any other guests who wanted to sleep past 7:00 am. We were already up. As I was packing up, I noticed a small bug on my sheets. It wasn’t a bug! It was a baby scorpion. I’m happy to report that I was not stung, and that it is dead. I reported it to the front desk and was told that they do spray for them, but some of them do escape.

Pros:

Schlichtes Hotel in Mitten der der Einöde. Nichts luxuriöses aber sehr angenehm. Der Pool ist ein tolles Extra! Gespeist haben wir außerhalb, daher können wir zum Restaurant nichts sagen. Nur 5 Minuten von den Höhlenmalereien entfernt. Hätten gerne noch eine Nacht dort verbracht.

A must stay in Baja!
Pros:

A truly special place. I’ve stopped here many times while traveling to and from Baja Sur, and it remains a favorite. The setting is breathtaking, the atmosphere authentic, and the staff consistently kind and attentive.

ein super schönes hotel mitten in der wüste von baja california, eine anbsolute oase und der pool bei 40° war perfekt
alles sehr sehr sauber ein super nettes immer gut gelauntes und ganz ganz liebes personal und das restaurant war echt läkka,
sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Value just isn’t there, but area is beautiful
Pros:

The location of this hotel is excellent, as the area is spectacular for exploring. The pool area is nice but the weather was too cold for going for a swim. The staff are very nice

Cons:

I think the lack of competition makes this property very expensive. Our room had no window and was very dark. I thought the food portions were small for the price. Margaritas VERY expensive and the bartender made us pay in cash. We paid by credit card for meals and no one seemed to care. I felt like I spent way too much money at this property for one night, one round of cocktails, one breakfast and one dinner.

Unusual location, comfortable, and easy stay and it was great for my pet.
Pros:

It’s the only game in town, it’s so unusual location. Beautiful, but super remote. The hotel is old but very clean and comfortable. Bathroom is quite small. Pet friendly and a nice play area with grass which I appreciate. Restaurant menu needs a little love, very limited dinner options.

Cons:

Variety of food beverage. No ice, no refrigerator… Why?

Disfruta del desierto en su esplendor
Pros:

El Hotel está en un pequeño poblado a la orilla de la carretera en medio del desierto. A pesar de la cercanía con la carretera no se oye por la noche ya que practicamente nadie circula en la carretera a esa hora. Las instalaciones son de muy buen gusto y los alrededores son bellísimos.
Si te gusta la naturaleza debes de hospedarte aqui.
