I can’t wait to go back! Two nights was not enough
Pros:

An absolutely amazing experience to stay in there. You really get to experience the way it was and the beauty of the gold rush days.

Cons:

Not a thing. I even had a shared bathroom and still loved it. This is the experience and to dislike the way it works is to not fully appreciate the old times.

Pros:

We loved the attention to detail, you really feel like you are traveling back in time. Ria is lovely host and prepares a great breakfast. Staying right in the middle of Barkerville also has the advantage that you can still enjoy the town when most if the tourists have left for the day. All in all, a highly recommended experience!

Pros:

The general atmosphere in Barkerville was amazing, sleeping in the St. George Hotel was the cherry on top! Everyone is super friendly, the decor is wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

I'm so glad I discovered this truly unique hotel that provides an experience like no other.
Pros:

A step back in time that provides an experience like no other. Everything from our host, Ria, to the decor of the hotel to the wonderful breakfast was perfect! I would stay here again and will recommend to all my friends and family want something than a traditional hotel experience.

Pros:

The Breakfast had lots of variety and was different both days. Was also accommodating to food sensitivities Very friendly, helpful staff. Loved that we had access to water and coffee during the day and a place to rest if needed.

I say it’s a must. If you are goong to Barksville you have to stay at the St. George
Pros:

I loved staying right in the centre of it all in Barkerville. It was super clean and the included breakfast was awesome, coffee and tea all day long.

Cons:

I would prefer to have my own bathroom but the shared bathroom worked just fine. It was always clean and only shared with 1 or 2 more rooms.

Magical stay! Highly recommend!
Pros:

The old time charm was spot on. The location, inside Barkerville was perfect for explore the grounds after hours when others left. The breakfast was of high quality and great variety. Ria was a lovely host and made sure we were well looked after. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

Toller Ort um Geschichte zu erleben

Wonderful stay and Ria, was exceptional.
Pros:

Ria, the hotel manager was exceptional - definitely the best part and there were many great parts to this stay. Location was perfect, room was quaint and perfect - a bit small - but that is the era. The bathrooms were shared but otherwise fantastic. The breakfast was outstanding and my kids and I raved about the fresh croissants. I would go back in a heartbeat.
