Hôtel sympa avec une déco très originale (un beau jardin intérieur).
Pros:

La situation sur la Quinta Avenida, en plein centre de la rue la plus animée et commerçante de Playa Del Carmen et très proche de la plage. L'amabilité du personnel, la propreté (ménage fait soigneusement tous les jours. Prix très correct pour l'emplacement de l'hôtel dans une rue piétonne. La climatisation qui fonctionne très bien. Le débit wifi est top !
Pour le petit déjeûner "compris", on vous remet chaque jour un coupon pour le prendre au resto Italien juste à côté. Le petit déjeûner est très basique. Voici de quoi il est composé pour deux personnes : (café ou thé) 4 tartines de pain grillé, 2 beurres et 2 confitures, un verre de jus d'orange chacun (très bon), une assiette chacun de fruit frais soupoudrée de céréales et c'est tout ! Tout le reste éventuel est à la carte et en supplément. Ceci étant dit, le personnel du resto en question est vraiment super. On discute tous les matins avec eux, etc. Même les repas du midi et du soir (vous aurez un coupon pour -15 % à demander à l'hôtel) sont excellents. Les prix sont bien sûrs ceux de Playa Del Carmen !

Cons:

Notre chambre était au rez-de chaussée... La fenêtre ne donnait que dans le hall de l'hôtel (donc rideaux toujours fermés pour préserver l'intimité), donc lumière électrique obligatoire... À propos de la lumière de la chambre, les ampoules sont un peu faiblardes. Autres inconvénients de la chambre au rez-de-chaussée, le bruit : très tôt le matin, ou même tard le soir (23h et plus), certains occupants de l'hôtel qui font check-in et/ou checkout ne sont pas discrets... Certains parlent fort ou rient sans se soucier aucunement des occupants des chambre du RDC à quelques mètres... Ce sont toujours les mêmes que je ne citerai pas, on ne peut rien y faire. En revanche, je trouve que la personne de la réception devrait quand même leur faire comprendre -avec tact, bien sûr- de la mettre un peu en sourdine, qu'il y a des gens qui pourraient dormir. Cela s'est produit à plusieurs reprises.
Les équipements devraient être rénovés : manque bonde du lavabo, robinet et miroir oxydés (devraient être remplacés) ; meuble sous-évier pas super.

Pros:

L’emplacement, l’accueil du personnel qui étaient au petit soin, la chambre était spacieuse et confortable.
Petit déjeuner continental compris. Au vue du prix dans l’emplacement c’est un plus.

La habitación fue muy cómoda y no se escuchaba el ruido de afuera. Se descansa muy bien en ella y la atención del personal es muy buena.

Cons:

El desayuno se obtiene en un restaurante cerca de la posada, ofrecen pan tostado, huevo, fruta, té, jugo o café; el único inconveniente es que si pides un vaso más de jugo, té o café, te lo cobran como un extra.

Excelente hotel, con un personal que atiende también con excelencia. Viajaba con mi bebé y nos preocupaba un poco que por la ubicación del hotel se sintiera mucho ruido, pero nada de esto: el hotel es súper silencioso y pudimos descansar cómodamente. El desayuno nos encantó:. Si bien es continental, es una excelente opción y lo sirven en un restaurante muy bueno y con una atención excelente. Quedamos felices de haber escogido este hotel en Playa del Carmen
