Perfect wedding night at the hotel

A lovely, relaxing stay, despite the few details that could be improved.
Pros:

The location, the welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, the handwritten anniversary card and chocolates (thank you!) and the beautiful, interesting building.

Cons:

The welcome letter in the room referred to a stay in winter instead of summer, the bar service didn't come out onto the terrace, no slice of cucumber with the Hendrick's G&T, ripped parasols on terrace, garden not weeded, scaffolding, no fish knife for the lemon sole, old anniversary chocolates, pool too shallow.

Lovely hotel, great location, overpriced
Pros:

Large comfy well appointed room.
With everything you would need for a stay. Great supply of toiletries

Cons:

Room numbers did not flow difficult to find rooms. I had to return to reception to be escorted as room so hard to find. Most rooms involved uneven step staircases.
Bathroom clean, but dated

A beautiful hotel where the staff make you feel at home
Pros:

The staff in all areas especially the restaurant were outstanding, they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was to much trouble. We had lunch in the bar area, where the young man there was so welcoming and friendly.We also had an evening meal here and Abdol made this very special indeed, his knowledge of the menu and his service was exceptional. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.The hotel itself was very beautiful, with plenty of quiet places to sit with a drink and just relax. At breakfast, the impeccable service started again, with our two wonderful waiters, Dorick and Alfie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Cons:

Nothing, apart from having to leave.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Nutfield Hotel. Everything was beautiful, and we enjoyed every single moment. The staff were beyond amazing — very friendly, respectful, and helpful — and everything was clean and well organised.

One thing that really impressed me was when I called reception to ask for a cake, but unfortunately the kitchen had already closed for the night. Despite that, the lovely staff member kindly offered to provide toast, jam, honey, and some simple snacks instead. I truly appreciated her kindness, thoughtfulness, and excellent customer service.

Thank you for making our stay so special. We would definitely love to come back again!
