Was given tiny room near kitchen generator was changed after complaining, swimming pool was tiny people standing like sardines in a tin couldn’t even swim, was very expensive for such poor facilities

Sehr kinderunfreundlich. Spa ist eigentlich hoteleigenes Fitnessstudio und öffentlich zugänglich sehr voll. Kurse voll mit Rentnern.

The house is stunning. Beautiful view paired with an impressive internal design. Our room was spacious and excellent
It was a beautiful, old and historic building that felt really special, from the outside and inside. The staff were all incredibly nice and pleasant. It was lovely having access to the spa. The scones with jam and cream were lovely too!
The facilities felt dated and could definitely be spruced up. The a/c did not stretch much to the room and so we arrived feeling very hot. There were cobwebs around the room. The breakfast and dinner were pleasant but not the best meals we’ve had (the vegetarian options at dinner weren’t great or particularly inspiring, which was surprising given the very accommodating options at breakfast).
The views and the old building
Breakfast was amazing
The first room we had the bed squeaks the Aircon kept on beeping and refilling we got moved rooms, but I didn’t have you like we did our other room for £250 a night there was no shower cap or toothbrushes in the first room we were in just very basic for that price.
Spa is very outdated and disgusting classes in the pool
Luxury heritage hotel, comfy, spacious and with great food.
Staff was not good, receptionist was making inapropriate jokes with the couple checking in in front of us, then was quite rude to us.

Beautiful building, incredible views, amazing food. Brilliant staff. Incredible massage at the spa.
Wish we had been given a bit more of a tour of the spa. Only realised there was a cafe afterwards. All excellent though.
The room and hotel were lovely, romantic and also dramatic and well finished, the food was exceptional as was the breakfast in the room and without question the staff were the standout, everyone was os kind and helpful and with a special note for the resturant manager and Caspar at the bar.
Breakfast was great with lots of choice.
