Fraaie locatie maar zeer gedateerd hotel
Pros:

De locatie aan het meer met eigen strandje en afgezet zwemwater.

Cons:

Dit hotel moet echt gerenoveerd / gemoderniseerd worden. Wij lazen veel lovende berichten over het ontbijt maar yoghurt uit een potje en verouderde filterkoffie scoorden bij ons echt niet.

Pros:

Excellent location, kind professional staff, arrived early and swam in hotel's lakeside area and took rowboat to fairy tale island for 2 hrs while waiting for our room. Wonderful. Great room. Lovely 4 course dinner. 5 star breakfast, 5 star hotel in every possible way!

Excellent staff, great location but not good value for money.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. staff excellent. Location excellent. Room clean and staff very helpful.

Cons:

Expensive and not good value for money. Room rates too high. Food very expensive and drinks very expensive. Ended up eating out all the time.

Perfect location
Pros:

This hotel excels in service. All staff were kind, attentive, friendly, helpful and always available. We thank Svetlana for being so lovely each morning during the breakfast service. The hotel is grand with opulent lounge areas, breakfast room, outdoor pool and of course the spectacular view of Lake Bled from our suite with balcony and lake view. The hotel is located in the perfect position to walk to excellent restaurants, around the lake and a few minutes to catch a Pletna boat to the Island. We also compliment the hotel's room service. A great holiday experience for us, thank you!

Cons:

The room was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay very much, but a minor comment would be to upgrade the cushioning of the sofa.

Very expensive
Pros:

The location was great. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the lady who served us was superb. The free rowing boat offer was also great.

Cons:

The hotel was run down, tired and needs investment. The bed was old and dipped in the middle. The bathroom needed updating. The pictures of the hotel swimming pool are very deceptive as it was much smaller than expected. Very expensive for what was provided. We were woken in the middle of the night 3 times by the room phone and no compensation was offered by the hotel.

Beautiful location and adequate for a short stay only.
Pros:

The location of the Hotel is excellent. The lounge area overlooks the Lake with very traditional 1930s furniture.
There was a nice welcome drink on arrival which was wonderful. The breakfast is absolutely incredible with amazing service throughout. The Reception staff are extremely knowledgeable and polite.
The Hotel also offers a one hour free boat hire on the Lake which is a nice gesture.

Cons:

The decor is extremely dated and tired and is in desperate need of a refurbishment which I know is being planned. The rooms are dark and need an injection of new furniture.
