Cons:

It was almost impossible to find waiters in the restaurant. They seemed to ignore guests who needed service, which made the experience quite unpleasant. In addition, there was no air conditioning in the common areas, so it was uncomfortably hot. The furniture also felt very old, and the bathroom was clearly in need of renovation.

A beautifully located heritage hotel on Lake Bled that feels like a home away from home.
Pros:

Stunning location right on the lake — it doesn't get better than this. Grand Hotel Toplice has a wonderful heritage feel that's warm and homely rather than stiff or formal. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent

Perfect luxurious treat for a couple of nights.
Pros:

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a lake view room which was spectacular. Staff were super attentive polite and helpful . Breakfast was a real treat. Location perfect.

Cons:

Could do with having a bit more atmosphere in the bar area.

Good location right on the lake. Nice staff

Cons:

To didn’t work. No air con this time of year so because room was so hot we had to have window open all night and very noisy construction works started at 6 am right outside our room. Restaurant well over rated . Definitely not Michelin star quality that they say

Memorable Stay: A Five-Star Experience with Breathtaking Lake View
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were all extremely kind, helpful, and professional — truly what you’d expect from a five‑star experience. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, which allowed us to wake up to the most breathtaking view of Lake Bled.

Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the deck for sunbathing — it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning lake scenery.

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne, which made our stay even more special. We’re so grateful for the thoughtful service and can’t wait to come back!

Cons:

The bathroom in our room had a bad smell, and the outside bar was closed during our visit, which was frustrating. The hotel definitely needs urgent renovations, though I was informed that improvements are planned for next season. I hope to return with my family after the renovations, as I see potential in this place!

Grandiose Aussicht auf den Bleder See, egal ob vom Zimmer, der Lobby oder dem Restaurant; einfach eine perfekte Lage. Dazu kommen sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Das Hotel hat den Charme vergangener Jahrezehnte.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist leider schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und es bedürfte einmal einer grundlegenden Sanierung/Renovierung
