Grüne Oase zum Entspannen in Siem Reap
Pros:

Wir haben 5 Nächte in einer der kleinen Villen im Rambutan Resort übernachtet. Das Hotel ist ein friedlicher und grüner Rückzugsort in zentraler Lage. Uns hat insbesondere der Bereich, in dem die kleinen Villen sind gefallen, hier ist es noch etwas ruhiger und gemütlicher als im Hauptbereich. Doch auch der Hauptbereich ist sehr schön - insbesondere zum Essen - und bietet abends zudem eine gute Bar (unbedingt den Welcome Cocktail mit Kampot Pfeffer probieren). Wir haben zweimal im Hotel gegessen, was zwar etwas teurer aber sehr gut war. Das Personal ist warmherzig und freundlich, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich besonders macht. Über das Hotel haben wir ein TukTuk für die Ausflüge in und um Ankor herum gebucht und auch unserer Fahrer Nak war ein besonderer Mensch, der zudem viele Infos zum geschichtlichen Hintergrund gegeben hat. Auf individuelle Routenanpassungen ist er flexibel eingegangen und hat auch eigene Vorschläge gemacht. Auch ihn können wir nur empfehlen. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt und werden bei der nächsten Reise nach Kambodscha wieder hier übernachten. Denn wir kommen definitiv wieder in dieses Land, was so viel mehr als Siem Reap und Ankor und somit mehr als nur eine Reise wert ist.

Cons:

Die kleinen Villen mit dem Schlafzimmer im unteren Bereich sind für unseren Geschmack etwas zu dunkel im Schlafbereich und daher von der Aufteilung her nicht ideal. Wir würden das nächste Mal um ein Schlafzimmer im oberen Stockwerk bitten.

Zudem wäre es toll, wenn die Fernseher eine Smart TV Funktion für Netflix & Co bieten würden.

A relaxing oasis in Siemp Reap
Pros:

This charming boutique hotel offers a refreshing swimming pool nestled in lush landscaping, complemented by an exceptionally friendly, welcoming team and a really good selection of breakfast choices, all conveniently located within a brief tuk-tuk ride or leisurely walk from the town centre.

Cons:

A couple of comfortable outdoor chairs would have been welcome on our private roof top, instead of sun loungers with hard triangular cushions.

My time at Rambutan
Pros:

Loved the pool and the staff. The room was great.

The best stay with the best staff
Pros:

Mr Srouch welcomed us with warmth and professionalism and all the test of the team were amazing too. We loved the tours with our very knowledgeable tuktuk driver Nuk. Rooms, pool, garden, spa, cocktails and everything else was absolutely fantastic. Short and safe walk to central area

Cons:

Nothing but the tours may be better if split on 2 days, the small circuit is not small at all and would deserve more time.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse sur le toit avec la baignoire, un espace très intime et parfait pour se détendre pendant les journées chaudes.

Le lit était extrêmement confortable et la chambre, dans son ensemble, était de grande qualité, à la fois agréable et bien entretenue.

L’accueil a été irréprochable : le personnel est très aimable et toujours disponible. Il est également possible de réserver facilement toutes sortes d’activités directement à la réception, avec des tarifs tout à fait raisonnables. Mention spéciale à notre guide francophone Wong, qui a été exceptionnel lors de la visite des temples, ainsi qu’à son chauffeur de tuk-tuk, d’une grande gentillesse.

Enfin, les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux et variés.

Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation ! ✨
