Staff were fantastic throughout the stay, breakfast was nice and the dinner was exceptional. House was lovely and real great place to stay.
Only issue was the room was perfect for a couple we were facilitated with a cot for our son but it took up a lot of the room

One wall socket which I located underneath the table next to wardrobe. NO TV remote control did ask and were informed “sorry no spare”
Location was quiet and relaxed
The room was lush with a lovely view of the grounds
It was a little hot so i think a top sheet on the bed as i did request but they either didnt see it or forgot
The lights were a little dull some form of panel on wall i could not operate lighting

On arrival the whirl at the reception were very kind
Too many stairs and very hard to find our room, once we arrived into our room I needed to use the bathroom, figuring out there was no toilet paper, I had to go all the way back down stairs as the phone to ring reception wasn’t working. The receptionist was very apologetic and sent toilet paper up to our room.
We then had a letter on the floor of our room saying we couldn’t shower or use the water as there was an issue with the water pipes. There was no warning about this until we got up to our room.
There are no hair dryers in the room and also there is an iron but no ironing board.
There was cobwebs all over the ceiling of the room especially where the lampshades are.
For one night I paid €179 and I genuinely think it wasn’t worth the price at all
