Die Lage war okay.
Das Hotel hat sich überlebt. Sauberkeit war nicht vorhanden. Überall klebte der Boden. Die Badtür schrie. Das Frühstück war vorgegeben und hatte eine komische Zusammenstellung.
Excellent location, very convenient to markets, restaurants (Thai and best steak), beach bar, city shops. Staff and particularly the manager Raymond are super helpful. There was a convenient small bar and rooftop bar/eating area that I would use for working on laptop with a view of sea, plus small dining area for breakfast and meals that was more than adequate. They make a good coffee and have a free massage chair! Small supermarket next door plus kava bar if you like that! Short walk to excellent Banya beach bar for swim, meals, drinks.
Beds are very hard! But apparently this is common in Vanuatu and the manager said there is no problem changing this if required and to just let them know you want a softer mattress.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the waterfront and within easy reach of the market and the main hub of activity in Port Vila. Being positioned on a hill also means some rooms have lovely views.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. There is no elevator but I didn't find this to be an issue. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and I really couldn't complain.
Like quite a few properties in Port Vila, the hotel feels somewhat dated. It is clear that efforts have been made to update and modernise the property but some of the décor and design still feels a little old-fashioned and could benefit from further refurbishment. The mattress wasn't too comfortable.

Location is good, there is a nice terrace on the roof with a great view of the bay. Staff are all really nice and helpful.
The air conditioning will go off every few hours so you will wake up multiple times a night sweating to have to turn it on again. The food is hit and miss and takes about 45-60 minutes to come out. Most of the things on the menu are not available. Non smoking rooms still smell like smoke. The photos for the rooms are misleading showing a crisp made up single bed in the queen room, this is not the case. Beds are as firm as is possible for a bed to be even with mattress toppers.
