Royal Cocoon in Nuwara Eliya is a lovely place to stay. The location is fantastic, very close to town, and the property is clean and well maintained. It has a beautiful colonial-style charm with a great garden, which makes the stay feel peaceful and relaxing. Overall, a very good experience and would recommend.

فندق جميل وهادي فيه حوالي 6 غرف وخذينا أكبرها وواسعة والحمام كذلك ويوجد به شطاف


قريب من السوق ومعظم الأماكن للتجول والحديقة.

ستيفين كان موظف مثالي جدا وخدوم يقدم لنا القهوة والشاي في اي وقت نريد ومجانا في اجواء باردة وجميلة صباحا ومساءا.

الفندق من طابق واحد وكل الي طلبناهم للنقل يعرفوه على طول وفيه حديقة جميلة جدا للجلوس.

الفندق يشبه فنادق أوروبا الكلاسيكية اثاثا وكراسي وشكلا وعمره اكثر من 100 سنة وتم تجديده وانا احب هذا النوع من الفنادق فالاجواء الباردة

لي عودة آخرى الى سيرلانكا وسأختار هذا الفندق ان شاء الله مرة ثانية

الأفطار من قائمة تتطلبها قبل يوم وكان لذيذ وشهي.

Can highly recommend.
Pros:

The staff is great, very friendly and helpful. The manager personally ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. We very much enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful garden with its many options to sit down and relax.

El trato del personal y las camas que eran grandes y muy cómodas. Además de la limpieza que era muy buena. El recepcionista nos consiguió un Tuk tuk a buen precio para hacer una excursión toda una mañana.

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Cocoon in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. The bungalow is beautiful, with large and comfortable rooms, a lovely garden, and very good WiFi. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Nuwara Eliya.

Cons:

Needs some maintenance and deep cleaning.

The highlight of my Sri Lanka trip
Pros:

Royal Cocoon is truly the best hotel in Nuwara Eliya, and honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in my life.

The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and caring — especially Raminda, Sevin, and Teeban. The room and bed were spacious and comfortable, and the food was absolutely amazing.

The pumpkin curry I had for dinner was the best curry I have ever eaten in my life. It was so unforgettable that I already want to come back to Nuwara Eliya just to eat that pumpkin curry again! Raminda, Sevin, and Teeban always looked out for me and made sure my time in Nuwara Eliya was safe, comfortable, and enjoyable. When I wanted to take the famous tea train from Ambewela to Ella, they kindly explained everything about how to take the train, and thanks to them, I had one of the best experiences of my life on the tea train.

Raminda also recommended a great place for kottu and even kindly gave me a ride to a nearby supermarket on the way. I truly appreciate all of their kindness and hospitality.

I was able to have the best time in Sri Lanka because of Royal Cocoon. Thank you so much for such an unforgettable stay!

ヌワラエリヤ、スリランカで一番のホテルです！本当に優しくプロフェッショナルなホテルのスタッフ（特にRamindaさん、Sevinさん、Teebanさん）、大きな部屋とベッド、お食事、全てにおいて最高です。夜ご飯のパンプキンカレーは私が食べたカレーの中で、人生で一番美味しかったです。あのパンプキンカレーを食べるのに、もう一度ヌワラエリヤに訪れようと思っています。Ramindaさん、Sevinさん、Teebanさんは、私のヌワラエリヤでの時間が安全で楽しいように、見守ってくれました。私が、Ambewela駅から、Ella駅まで紅茶鉄道に乗りたい時も電車の乗り方を教えてくれたおかげで、私は紅茶鉄道で人生最高の時間を過ごすことができました。Ramindaさんは、夜ご飯のKotuのおすすめを教えてくれたり、近くのスーパーへついでに車で送ってくれたり、本当にありがとうございました！スリランカでの最高の時間を過ごすことができたのは、Royal Cocoonのおかげです！

La campagne anglaise au Sri Lanka

L’accueil 4*
Le style campagne anglaise
Le petit déjeuner à la carte original et délicieux.
La localisation, proche du Parc Victoria et même du lac Grégory à pieds.
La literie et le chauffage d’appoint qui a diffusé juste ce qu’il faut de chaleur douce.

Cons:

Le bruit, je suppose des oiseaux dans le grenier la nuit.
Il n’y avait pas de location vélos bien que c’était spécifié dans l’annonce.
Je n’étais pas là lorsque le plombier, sans prévenir, a apporté le câble pour réparer la douche ce qui n’est pas de la faute de l’hôtel mais par contre, la réparation n’étant du coup pas faite, je n’ai pas été prévenue que l’eau chaude fonctionnait mal et pouvait m’ebouillanter…
L’hôtel aurait besoin d’être rénové pour maintenir ses étoiles.

Mr. Shevin gave us an excellent service.
Pros:

Very Hospitable staff. Clean & cozy room. Wonderful, well maintained garden.

Cons:

If a sofa added to the room it would be better. Electricity supply (plugs) should be fixed. Peo TV connection was not their.

Overall good stay and pretty good value for money with friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful, good location. Breakfast was generous (although had to order the day before and advise of what time you wanted it, which can be a little restrictive).

Cons:

Rooms were a little run down and there were stains on some of the linen (doesn’t necessarily mean they were unclean of course, but optics..). But it is an old colonial building so would expect things to be aged.
