This room is not the high standard of other stays.
Pros:

Reasonably priced. Slept very well.

Cons:

Room 7 . Toilet was stained, probable age related.Room had a strange smell when entering( This disappeared when fan was turned on)but returned later. Room had a lot of cobwebs high up .

Great accommodation
Pros:

The staff, all young, were absolutely fantastic. Food was wonderful and the accommodation comfortable. Masham is a lovely wee town.

Friendly helpful staff in a great location
Pros:

Location great. Good choice at breakfast. All staff were very helpful

Cons:

Our room was at the front over the entrance and at the top of the stairs so footfall busy, BUT to be expected at a busy time of year.

Cheap stay, below average accommodation terrible breakfast

The location was good.

Cons:

Was quite dirty, particularly the carpets, chairs etc. dusty, cobwebs hanging from lampshades. Tv was completely basic just regular channels couldn’t connect it to internet. Bathroom was very basic. Was originally told breakfast until 10. First morning had a very poor breakfast around 9:15. Second morning went for breakfast same time to be told breakfast finished at 9, but they could still cook us breakfast but could we move to another room as it’s now dinner time (at 9:20?)

Didn’t eat anything else there as breakfast was so poor probably everything is microwaved. Bar wasn’t cheap either.

Unfreundliches Personal an der Bar, Essensbestellung erst nach 1.5 h Wartezeit möglich, TV lief nicht, Heizung nicht regulierbar, sehr harte Matratze, sehr ringhörig (von oben, von unten und von vor der Bar), beim Frühstück wurde fast das doppelte berechnet, sehr schmutzige Fenster.

Ok to eat and drink but not for sleeping
Pros:

The location is perfect. The pub and restaurant lovely. Staff spot on

Cons:

Strong damp smell in room and plumbing was useless. Shower flooded.
