Very close to the beach. However the beach is a public beach. The hotel has its own area with sunbeds but since the beach is public, it’s not exclusively for adults, even though the hotel is adults-only.

Cons:

The hotel does not live up to a five-star standard in terms of quality. The overall atmosphere feels more like a youth-oriented hotel than a five-star resort. The music around the pool is played very loudly, which can make it difficult to relax.
The breakfast was nothing to write home about, with a fairly average/below average selection and quality.

Best hôtel ever!
Pros:

L’hôtel San Angelo est sans aucun doute l’un des meilleurs hôtels que j’ai visités en Albanie ! De l’accueil aux activités, en passant par les services et les prestations proposées, tout était absolument excellent. La suite royale est magnifique, très spacieuse et d’une propreté irréprochable, avec deux balcons offrant une superbe vue sur la piscine et la mer. Le mini-bar est bien rempli, et la chambre dispose à la fois d’une douche et d’une baignoire.

Tout est pensé pour passer un séjour exceptionnel : jacuzzi, sauna et massages sont proposés, et la piscine est très propre avec une bonne température. L’ambiance est vraiment agréable, avec de la bonne musique, tout en restant calme le soir, ce qui permet de bien se reposer. Mention spéciale pour le jet-ski à la plage, une activité que je recommande vivement !

Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe pour leur professionnalisme et leur accueil. Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés et j’y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

- de locatie. Het hotel is direct aan zee met een eigen privé strand

Cons:

- de eerste dag bij aankomst was er gelijk een poolparty. Dus oorverdovend muziek
- iedere dag vanaf ongeveer 13.00 tot ongeveer 19.00 stond er keihard muziek aan. Het leek alsof we in een discotheek waren. Dit hotel is geboekt met het idee ‘adults only’, hierdoor verwachtten wel degelijk rust. Dat is dus niet het geval.
- het ontbijt is helaas als je wat later aankomt niet heel vers en voor een 5 sterren restaurant was de keuze toch echt heel beperkt.

Great stay, lovely staff
Pros:

Clean rooms, friendly staff and the pool area was beautiful. They were very accommodating with a room change.

Cons:

The breakfast was poor, limited options and most of the time was cold. We payed for the breakfast but could only have it twice as we did not enjoy it. It can get pretty loud with the music, we originally were staying in a room on the 1st floor and unfortunately our room was just above the speaker so it got really loud.

I had a very bad check out experience. I paid a lot of money for 4nights. The fridge in the room had some small snacks, no1 explained to me that they were being sold and l assumed its part of the package. Upon checking out l was told l should pay for the stuff l ate.

Cons:

La musique répétitive est horriblement forte
Il a été impossible de se reposer entre 12h et 18h.
Nous avons mesuré plus de 86 db à la plage :Insoutenable.
L’équipe de ménage qui discutent devant votre chambre dès 8h du matin, moyen.
Il faudrait indiquer dans le descriptif de l’hôtel qu’il est adapté aux fêtards.
Je n’ai rien contre mais si nous avions été avertis, nous ne serons forcément pas venus.

Absoluut geen luxe 5-sterren resort
Pros:

Het ziet er wat betreft inrichting en stijl super uit met een mooi strand en zwembad. Je hebt prachtig uitzicht en vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Vanaf 12 uur s’middags wordt er oorverdovende muziek gedraaid (en wij zijn echt niet anti-muziek :)). We gaan extra op het strand liggen om zo ver mogelijk van de boxen af te liggen, maar ook daar kun je elkaar amper verstaan. Zelfs het personeel geeft aan dat ze niet weten waarom de muziek zo hard staat, ‘dat is altijd zo’.
Dat je dit als ‘luxery 5-sterren’ hotel wil uitstralen snap ik echt niet.

Ook de hygiëne laat op een aantal punten te wensen over in de kamers. Ze zeggen dat je vanaf 7.00 kunt ontbijten, echter toen wij om 7.10 wilden ontbijten vanwege een geplande activiteit stond er alleen wat fruit, de rest was nog niet klaar.

Die Mitarbeitenden in der Bar und am Strand waren sehr freundlich. Ihnen gilt uns Dank!

Cons:

Mehr Schein als sein! Miese Auswahl beim Frühstück, aberwitzig gestaltete Zimmer, sollen besonders aussehen sind aber vor allem nicht zu gebrauchen. Es gibt keinen Schrank, zu wenig Platz für Koffer, die Tür der Dusche geht nicht ganz auf, weil die an der Decke gegen die Lüftung kommt. Dazu noch unfreundliche Mitarbeiterinnen am Empfang. Insgesamt sehr wenig Klasse!
