Its a very good option to go to Sintra without being in the historic centre. The hotel is very nice, have a very comfortable spa, good facilities, the breakfast is excellent. The rooms are a bit old fashion but are very clean. I think they shoulf offer tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. They only have frigobar. I should recommend the property.

O café é pessimo! A comida não é grande coisa, não recomendo regime de meia pensão. Não ha regras no acesso ao spa, não é obrigatório uso de touca na piscina interior, é permitido andar dentro e fora directamente pelo jardim pelo que fica tudo um nojo. O banho turco precisa de limpeza profunda e tt o banho turco como a sauna precisam de isolamento na parte inferior da porta. Se estiver muita gente a piscina interior mais parece um parque aquatico com o barulho e saltos constantes para a piscina. Não ha controlo do número de pessoas no spa, estou certo que a lotação maxima foi excedida em muitos momentos.

La piscina y zonas comunes muy bien también y la ubicación en cuanto a visitas no estaba mal ubicado.
Éramos 4 personas y en la habitación, que estaba en un edificio anexo solo había tres sillas y menaje para tres personas. Además, los platos y vasos estaban manchados.

Falta de brio, os azulejos da casa de banho com bolor, um canto do quarto também com bolor, cotão no chão do quarto. Verdete a volta das piscinas, as piscinas interiores com um cheiro intenso a cloro

El desayuno no estaba mal de todo, aunque muy poca variedad.
En primer lugar tanto la piscina como el Spa (yo le llamaría piscina interior) son pequeños y con mucha gente. En segundo lugar nuestra habitación estaba fuera del edificio principal, por lo que tenias que caminar por fuera o mover el coche si querías ir por ejemplo al Spa, si te pones un albornoz tienes que salir a la calle para ir a tu habitación. En tercer lugar la zona de nuestra habitación, el hall de la entrada estaba feo y sucio, no es nada atractivo. La habitación no estaba mal en general.

Check-in was smooth and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rate was excellent for peak August, and we loved the room size, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and mountains. The outdoor pool had plenty of lounge space. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, with great variety changing daily and good value for the price, and a helpful gentleman went out of his way to sort out our dinner access issue. The golf was a real highlight too, especially the covered driving range and the kids' golf lesson, which was fantastic.
We were disappointed to find the kids' club was aimed at younger children, so our 9-year-old couldn't really use it — the kids' club and golf were actually what drew us to book in the first place, since I'd hoped to have some "me time" at the spa while he was occupied, but once he realized it skewed young, he refused to go. On top of that, the spa itself doesn't really function as a proper spa experience — with family swim hours overlapping the pool and wellness area, it's loud and chaotic rather than relaxing, so anyone booking expecting a calm spa should be aware. A posted activity schedule would help too; we only found out about a 3pm kids' snack by chance, walking past the lobby. On our first night, we discovered — with no prior warning — that opting out of half board meant we couldn't access the dinner buffet, so we had to eat à la carte instead; by the end of the stay, the combined cost of the room plus meals ended up well above what half board would have cost — so it's not just about the money, it's that we weren't given the option to choose, and a simple disclaimer on their website's menu page would fix this. We were also surprised to be charged extra for room service delivery — a first for us — and ended up having to go pick the tray up ourselves instead; small details like this could be a real barrier for elderly guests who can't easily carry a tray or don't want the added charge. The wellness area also needs attention on the hygiene side: the pool and steam room smelled of urine, kids were using the sauna and steam room unsupervised, and we found a soiled diaper left in a shower. Given how much family-focused space the hotel has, a playground or sports area for older kids and teens would be a great addition.
