The hotel’s location and the view are beautiful.
I had difficulty sleeping because the curtains did not fully cover the windows. Sunlight came in through the sides and brightened the entire room, making the curtains feel almost ineffective. Better blackout coverage would have made a big difference to the quality of sleep.
The price is far too high compared to the services and overall experience provided. Unfortunately, this is the main reason I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

No swimming pool in the hotel.
Needed to walk in heat or take a paid golf car to reach swimming pool in another hotel, Bay la San.
To access the beach (Yam beach) you need to walk in the excruciating heat and cross a road, hotel isn’t directly on the beach. Although the distance isn’t far but the heat was very intense in August. Wish they provided transportation especially for people who have difficulty in walking in the sun.
Breakfast buffet overpriced and disappointing. Even coffee was bad: served in a thermos! In a 4 star hotel! Lots of processed foods and cheap selection of foods. Water served in a single home-style jug for the entire breakfast buffet and was often emptied on the spot. No coffee machine of any sort and no selection of coffees like cappuccino or espresso.
No choices of restaurants in this hotel and you need to travel again by golf car (for a fee) or walk in extreme heat to go to restaurants in Ba la sun hotel to go to their restaurant or to the other restaurant near it like steak house.
Sea food night on Friday at Bay la sun is a huge disappointment. Selection of food was large but the quality is less than mediocre.
