The location and staff were excellent
The property was very shabby needing an update, windows were drafty and did not close properly therefore making the room cold overnight. A pump in the room next door was very noisy and vibrated the wall

Inn a bit run down. Kitchen closed for renovation so no evening meals or breakfast available Parking was difficult as bit behind hotel didn’t belong to them

The staff were very friendly and very wlling to help and provide information. The pub was fun, friendly and lively without being noisy. Breakfast was available at a more distant location due to a temporary problem with the chef.
The location and staff were amazing
Booking.com double booked our room so we couldn’t stay in the room we wanted and the room we were given instead was a little smaller but that it’s no fault of the hotel, it’s an issue with booking.com
We had a lovely stay. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. It is a beautiful little inn and we would be happy to stay again.
Sadly, the kitchen is currently closed for repairs, so we didn't have the chance to eat at the Inn. We will look forward to that next time.

The view from our room was good and the inn was nice
There was no kitchen so no food available we were not aware of this when we booked as we stayed last year and there was food available. The room was not the one we thought we had booked
The location was excellent for us in order to get an early'ish start into Helensburgh for a birthday brunch with our granddaughter.
That there was no breakfast facility. However, we were told that a sister Inn was available at Cardross with a 10% discount but this was not attractive enough for the journey to be made with facilities nearby.

Clean and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and great atmosphere in the bar area with many locals enjoying an evening out! As there is currently no working chef, we took up the offer of ordering takeaway to be delivered and served to us in the dining room! It was most enjoyable and the staff were very attentive! Would definitely recommend!
