Suites at Gr Solmar Lands End Resort and Spa

I had a fantastic experience at lands end, specifically want to callout the amazing hospitality of a particular entertainment professional, Dulce (Tusita). The cornhole tournament and the blackjack she facilitated were family friendly and fun highlights. Thanks to the full staff and Tusita!

A relaxing wonderful week. We were warmly welcomed by Javier at the adult pool who went above and beyond to care for all the guests and made everyone feel at home. A beautiful place and excellent service!

Grand Solmar Lands End sits in one of the most spectacular locations imaginable — right on the Pacific side at Land’s End. If you could pop around the final rock at the edge of the property, you’d be staring at the famous Cabo Arch 🌊. The sand is soft, the surf dramatic, and the riptide is real — this beach is strictly black‑flagged for swimming 🚫🏊, and they make sure you sign acknowledgment forms several times. Despite that, we witnessed two rescues in four days!

The resort spans eight or nine buildings, each in varying states of refurbishment. We stayed in Building 4, where the décor felt circa 1990s‑2000s. The suite itself was massive — a master bedroom with a king bed, walk‑in closet, makeup desk, and balcony; plus a full living room, dining area, kitchen, and second bath with its own balcony. Air‑conditioning was excellent ❄️ and the Wi‑Fi was strong throughout the property, which matters to me 📶.

Still, maintenance details showed age: a green‑oxidized showerhead, a blackout curtain that wouldn’t fully close, chipped paint. These small flaws add up. The pools, however, are gorgeous — swim‑up bars, swim tables, and attentive staff 🏊‍♂️🍹. La Roca Restaurant earned its own separate Tripadvisor five‑star review from me, and the Asian restaurant and Las Brisas were also excellent with stunning views 🌅.

Transportation policy cost them another star. Uber can drop you off at the lobby, but pickups require walking down to the gate “for safety.” When I walked down to the gate to pick up the Uber and tried to drive through to collect my wife (who has a bad back), they refused — even though I was already in the Uber. That felt less about safety and more about control 🚫🚗. Uber represents democratized transportation, and restricting it under those conditions is outdated thinking.

Lastly, the timeshare pitch at check‑in was brief — about 90 seconds — and never repeated, which was a pleasant surprise 👍.

In short: Grand Solmar Lands End is like an old spouse — the charm and history remain, but the shine has faded. For nostalgia, it’s lovely; for modern luxury, you might prefer the updated model.

We have been coming here for over 10 years and love it. The service is amazing! The restaurants are well coursed and have lots of options.
Big spot light for special servers- Jose, Angel, Gregorio, and Felipe. They really take their time and make the experience!

Exceptional resort with lovely pools and great staff! I had the pleasure to be served by Tomas and Felipe at the sports bar, Angel and Jose at the pools and Gregorio at La roca. Every single one of them gave me 10/10 service.

Jose and Angel were our waiters at the pool and were so attentive and kind. Had a great experience at the pool. Was able to have wonderful conversations.

Felipe is always so so nice every night and made every dinner feel personal and well cared about!
Tomas as well was so wonderful and kept up with a ton of items ordered and shenanigans caused really appreciated him!
got my hair cut by Laticia looked absolutely amazing I got 8-10 inches cut off and she asked lots of questions to make sure everything looked great!!

Our stay at Grand Solmar Lands End was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery in every direction. The breathtaking ocean views, stunning grounds, and incredible atmosphere made this resort feel like a true paradise.

Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and wonderfully cool, which was especially appreciated after enjoying the beautiful Cabo sunshine. The entire property was exceptionally well maintained, and the attention to detail really stood out.

The hospitality was top-notch. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. The restaurants were another highlight! We enjoyed delicious food with a great variety of choices, and we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for a resort of this caliber.

A very special shout-out to David, our pool butler! 🌴☀️ David went above and beyond to make our pool days relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable. His friendly service and attention to detail truly made a difference. He is an absolute asset to the Grand Solmar team!

We also want to recognize the room cleaning staff, who did an outstanding job keeping our room fresh, clean, and comfortable throughout our stay. Their hard work definitely did not go unnoticed!

We also want to give a shout out to the incredible, talented spa staff. I had a facial and full body scrub that was beyond amazing and truly one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences of the entire trip.

Overall, Grand Solmar Lands End exceeded our expectations. The stunning location, beautiful atmosphere, immaculate rooms, wonderful restaurants, and exceptional staff made this a truly unforgettable experience. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and already looking forward to coming back.

BEWARE! Inside the Cabo airport, we were directed to this desk that we thought was airport transfer/taxi. It is a bait and switch that extracts cash and also charged our credit card over $400. We explained that we did not want activities or tours of their resort, but had already given them credit card information that we thought was for taxi.. I would never do business with these people or visit the resort under any circumstances. Do not give them your personal information of any sort.

Dulce was wonderful in Entertainment

DULCE IS THE BEST!! She was professional but so fun and kind.

This was a trioThis was a trio with family and friends who are owners. We are not owners (yet anyway), and this was our first visit, but I have to say it exceeded our expectations tenfold. The rooms were gorgeous and kept immaculately clean, the grounds were very well maintained, pools sparkling clean at all times, and the food was delicious whether poolside or at the nicer dining option. The highlight has to be the warm and extremely accommodating staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt so relaxed and well taken care of. David, our Cabana manager, couldn't have been sweeter or more accommodating; he even helped bandage my daughter's finger when she had a minor cut, going out of his way to find what he needed to help her. Also, a shout-out to Ian at Roca, Felipe at the sports bar, Wendy and Esmeralda from the deli, and Jose and Francisco— they were the absolute best. They served our large group by the pool with every request we made, handling each with warmth and a smile. Dream trip—don't hesitate to come visit Grand Solmar Lands' End.

Great resort! Rooms are beautiful, as our the grounds. Food is good and drinks are tasty. Activities staff has been wonderful with organized activities such as bingo, corn home tournaments, Zumba, water aerobics, black jack and Texas Holden. Big shout out to Natalya & Dulce for making everyday fun for the guests and making everyone smile. They are awesome!

It was pleasant surprise that Grand Solmar hosted a 250th American Independence Day event. It allowed my family to partake in the festivities away from home. We were able to catch the Michael Jackson show and fireworks from our balcony. It warmed my heart seeing our tradition being observed in Cabo San Lucas. However, as an American, it hurt my soul to see the main course, NY Steak and Picanha steak, overcooked and bland. It was a buffet style and all the meats were beyond well-done. It seemed like they were boiled in water because they were all gray. The ironic thing is they had a live fire grill used to cook the chicken.

Just spent 6 days here, wife and I celebrating our 13th anniversary (booked via Costco travel).

Absolutely wonderful from check in to check out. The staff were constantly polite, attentive, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to interact with. A few, in particular, stood out who absolutely deserve a shout-out - Felipe was our service host for the romantic dinner at the far Gazebo, and again at the sports bar the following evening. He (with Wilbur) went above and beyond to make our celebratory dinner an unforgettable evening. Fernando and Freddy were our breakfast waiters at La Roca, and they, too, were stellar, making every morning an absolute pleasure.

Lilibeth and Rosa were our staff for two separate massages, and were just an absolute delight and attentive in the best way.

I sincerely hope the resort management sees this message, and those wait staff all get a pay bump or bonus or something genuinely valuable and reflective of how much work they put into making our stay a special one.

I can't say enough good things about Grand Solmar Land's End! This is my 6th time staying here and I am continually impressed year after year. It is always so sad to leave. We had the BEST vacation! The property itself is gorgeous and is kept up immaculately. The staff are all so friendly and we had such wonderful service everywhere we went. Honestly, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Cabo! Big shout outs to our fav staff members: Francisco, Jose, Humbierto, David, and Dorian were all rockstars in the pool area. Fernando gave incredible service at breakfast at La Roca. The girls at Kids Club are so sweet and we love sending our little guy to play with them. Jorge made our last night at Las Brisas so special with a dinner on the beach. Felipe and the other waiters/bartenders at Sports Bar were awesome and made the World Cup watch parties so much fun. And all the guys up in valet are incredibly helpful and friendly as we were coming and going. Overall GS is lovely and we can't wait to come back next year!

Great experience for our family vacation.

Food was great! Elizabeth is an awesome Restaurant supervisor and the various restaurants at the resort were great! Cristal was great at LaRoca in the mornings and Gregorio was wonderful at LaRoca for our last evening meal. - The Mexican Festival was the best ever. The entertainment and food was phenomenal!!

Entertainment was superb! Jorge, Dulce, and Natalia were wonderful and had all of the guests engaged with karaoke, bingo, water aerobics, blackjack, and Texas Hold’Em.

We also worked out at the gym and Alberto was always there to greet us with a smile and made sure the equipment was clean and in working condition.

Lastly, my husband and I had a couple massage and Rocio did not disappoint. She gave me an amazing deep tissue massage. This was the second time I had Rocio.

Cannot wait to go back to celebrate my husband’s birthday in January.

We’ve been returning to Grand Solmar for several years, and the resort continues to impress with its beautiful grounds and consistently impeccable maintenance. This year, the addition of more family-friendly entertainment has been a particularly welcome enhancement, adding a new energy and sense of fun to the overall resort experience.

Natalia is an absolute standout. Her warm, kind, and youthful personality makes her a natural entertainer and a perfect fit for the role. She has a genuine ability to engage guests and make activities feel fun and inviting.

One of the unexpected highlights of our visits has also been the sense of community. Meeting and connecting with other guests has made our time at the resort feel even more special and personal.

Grand Solmar continues to evolve while maintaining the beauty and quality that has kept us returning year after year. Well done, Grand Solmar!

My experience has been amazing here! My family has a timeshare here and it’s always a great time. But this time the entertainment has been so fun, and especially festive with Natalia and Jorge.

Also my favorite servers were Sylvia and Eli because they were so attentive since my family had a cabana for 6 days and they were superb. Thank y’all so much for this great vacation and we can’t wait to come back!
