We absolutely loved our stay at Complex La Tunuri - Vila Economat. The location is truly exceptional. Staying on the grounds of Peleș Castle and looking directly at the castle from our room felt like stepping back in time. We stayed in one of the top-floor apartments, which appeared to retain much of its original layout and character, adding to the unique experience.

The views of Peleș Castle and the surrounding grounds were spectacular and completely unobstructed. Being able to walk the castle grounds early in the morning and in the evening, before and after the crowds arrived, was a special experience that we will remember for a long time.

The building itself has a fascinating history as part of the royal estate, and staying there added another dimension to our visit to Sinaia.

Cons:

There was very little not to like about this property. Guests should simply be aware that this is a historic building, so those expecting a modern chain hotel experience may find some aspects different from newer accommodations. For us, the historic atmosphere and character were part of the appeal.

Pros:

The location is ideal for wanting to visit the famous castles, with a bus stop available just a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly. The room was very comfortable; a big bathtub and bathroom, comfy bed, lots of channels on the TV, free coffee and tea. There is an ok view of the outside, though from my window I could not see much besides an area of gras and trees, so the view may vary. Quiet and peaceful. The breakfast service was fine; the servers were very friendly and helpful. The meal was filling but nothing special and quite a simple meal of cold cuts, cheeses, sliced veggies and a croissant so nothing too fancy.

Cons:

All was ok; maybe a fancier range of options for the included breakfast meal would improve the experience. Take note you will have to pay an additional tax of 6 lei per person.
