Pros:

The down stairs didn't match with th upstairs.
The room we were given was room 30 , looking out onto the main road.
The curtains were way to thin,
It still felt like day time with them closed .
The bathroom room was riddled with black mould around the window but the biggest issue was the toilet seat was not connected properly and I nearly broke my back the first time I used it.
The cold taps wouldn't turn off properly.
The food
.....what can I say ..4 out of 10 being very generous.
Very disappointed.

Fantastic people let down by the aged rooms.
Pros:

Fantastic staff, food was great and location was perfect.

Cons:

My bathroom had mould on the ceiling, there was black mould in the shower and the bedside table was covered in dust. The paint had been slapped on the walls with grey brush marks across the otherwise white walls.

The De Trafford Arms is the perfect place to explore Manchester, Cheshire, and the Peak District
Pros:

It was even better than expected. I loved the ambience, the food was excellent, the room was very clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Staff were lovely. The hotel is in a very good location. Only for the unexpected start of a very high temperature heatwave, which for us was too high for walking about, the hotel is in the perfect location to explore the wonderful Cheshire plains, the Peak District and Manchester. Jodrell Bank Observatory is just minutes away.
I can highly recommend.

Quiet .. comfortable clean few stairs to climb lift was available. Would stay if near the area again
Pros:

Location lovely cosy . Good food and staff friendly.

Cons:

Our room had one functional plug for our iPhone to charge other plugs available but couldn’t use. Did mention on leaving.

A pleasant stop over for Manchester Airport as only a very short distance away
Pros:

We like to stay in places that offer the eating and drinking options as it’s always nice to finish off a day with a good meal
This establishment in my opinion served up some of the best food I have tasted and we will certainly book it again when in the area
The staff were very friendly and helpful

Generally a good place to stay although rooms need air conditioning for excessively hot weather.
Pros:

Staff very nice; bed comfortable and room clean
The room was very quiet as requested
Venue was perfect for access to main routes and to nearby shops and restaurants
Having the free car parking was really helpful - especially as it lasted until the end of the leaving day

Cons:

Room was small and very hot and airless - not just with the weather but with boxed in hot pipes running the length of the room beside the bed.
The curtains were coming off the rail with some hooks broken or missing
