Pros:

The ambience. The staff were uniformly excellent.

Cons:

Flights of steps with no handrails, causing a fall at one point - fortunately only bumps and bruises but it could’ve been much more serious. Long walks getting round the site and spasmodic service in the golf carts. Not very disabled-friendly.

Room was cold when we arrived and the heater/ac did not work properly. Maintenance provided a separate heater immediately and fixed the room one on day 2.

Absolutely brilliant local getaway
Pros:

The executive room was amazing. Fireplace made it cosy and warm and we loved the bathroom, super modern with all the amenities you need. The outdoor shower was a special touch. Breakfast was great and the staff super friendly

Overall enjoyable. We enjoyed the fireplace in the room.
Pros:

The porter Nkosinathi was extremely helpful with our luggage. He also ferried us up and down between Carnivore and our room. I know this is his job, but he went beyond his job. His friendliness was so amazing, and made us feel welcome.

Cons:

The breakfast was a major let down. No buffet, as we normally would expect. It was absolutely a bad way to end off the overnight stay. Management must please have a look at improving the breakfasts, if not served as buffet. The staff in the restaurant was amazing, only the food itself was a let down.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden und es war ein super 1 Tag um nach dem Nachtflug in SA anzukommen.
Pros:

Schöne, saubere und gepflegte Zimmer, ruhige und grüne Hotelanlage, sehr nettes Personal und sehr gutes Essen. Sowohl das Abendessen im Carnivore Restaurant, was ein super Erlebnis war, als auch das Frühstück waren super lecker unc es war für jeden etwas dabei.

Cons:

Der vom Hotel organisierte Taxifahrer für den Nachmittagstrip nach Soweto war unerwartet sehr teuer, was allerdings auch an etwas schlechter und spontaner Kommunikation lag.

Warm, accommodating and fantastic staff, lovely room and facilities and a pleasant stay!
Pros:

Betty was an incredible assistance for my intial booking. She was so accommodating and provided such lovely service.
Siga was also so lovely at front reception - always giving a beautiful smile and making it feel very welcome.
Frans was very helpful and a lovely porter - the warmth of the staff was outstanding.
Portia at the Spa was also so kind and accommodating - making the swap out of my picnic basket for vegetarian so easy.

Overall I really loved my stay. The room was fantastic and very neat and clean, staff fabulous and very accommodating and the ambience extremely welcoming and comfortable. Will certainly be back again!
