It wasn't good, nothing like the description.
Pros:

Nothing, it was appalling.

Cons:

The shower in room didn't work properly. The restaurant that was advertised wasn't open at night. The breakfast was mouldy and off. Breakfast only started at 8am, not ideal when working.

Make sure you have photo ID even if British.
Pros:

It looked nice and modern from the outside. Bar looked good.

Cons:

Bed was very uncomfortable. At 1 am when I needed the toilet I was greeted by an automatic extremely bright light in the bathroom. Not what I need or want at that time. The bathroom had a fire door fitted to it and was wedged open on arrival. The shower, I wouldn’t bath a dog in it. Not clean and inviting. On a plus. Staff nice and professional. 1st time in uk I’ve been asked for ID. I’m British and have never carried ID. Fortunately my husband had his driving license. Could be difficult if you don’t have photo ID.

great hotel in strange town
Pros:

free breakfast. friendly guy at the til, and a quiet spot. room has nice amenities and tv has netflix, youtube, etc.. which is a nie touch. free coffee and tea as well which is nice.

Cons:

rotherham is a dead town. strangely eerie, we went out on a saturday night and it was absolutely crickets. dont recommend this location for a stay whatsoever

We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family and would definitely stay here again
Pros:

Loved the actual building and the style of the hotel, it was done out very nicely and you could tell that they had spent money on it. The breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. Cooked really nice and served up lovely and hot as it was cooked to order. Also the bar area/outside is lovely just to relax in.

Cons:

In the room it self it just needed a few extra things to make it more usable like by the TV instead of a picture on the wall above it would of been useful to have a mirror above it to do my hair and makeup inside I had to keep going over to the lovely full big mirror over on the wall by the bathroom door which was a bit of a pain. Also in the bathroom you could do with a few more shelves to put your toiletries on as there was no room for two lots so took in the bathroom when needed and had to place it on the top of the very small shelf that is already there. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay
