Die schweizer Preise sind schon sehr, sehr hoch - aber dafür kann der Gastgeber/Hotelier ja nichts!

This is my 3rd time staying with Le Coucou. Love it and will come back again.
Pros:

The Swiss atmosphere chalet and the unbeatable sunset view over lake Geneva. We loved the paths and trails around for morning strolls too. The service of the staffs at reception and dinner was super.

Cons:

It was a bit under staffed for the breakfast. The only staff was busy and stressed. The room was very warm due to heave wave, despite having an electric fan in room. But this is the problem for Central Europe during that week. It’s not the problem with the hotel.

La chambre bien meublée, assez grande, bon éclairage pour lire, le petit-déjeuner vraiment top. Je suis partie faire une randonnée de bon matin et le serveur m'a donné une boîte pour emporter le petit-dej, sympa. Le restaurant et ses alentours sobt vraiment charmants et soignös et le personnel est aux petits soins pour les clients, malgré la grande chaleur de ce week-end. Chapeau à eux.

Cons:

Lors de notre arrivée tardive dans la chambre, les prises des lampes n'étaient pas branchées et la chambre n'avait pas été aérée alors qu'il faisait très chaud. Il n'y a qu'une seule salle de bain pour 6 chambres c'est un peu maigre et il a fallu attendre pour se doucher.

Nous avons eu la chance de dormir dans la chambre tout au dessus avec une des meilleures vues sur toute la vallée et le lac, le panorama qu'on a par la fenêtre est juste incroyable !! Par beau temps, le coucher de soleil magnifique !

Cons:

Nous étions là pendant la canicule de 2026 et il faisait facilement 35° dans la chambre, c'est une pièce juste en dessous du toit, le tout en bois, avec des toutes petites fenêtres donc impossible de la refroidir pendant la nuit. Nous avons fini par aller dormir dans le jardin par terre tellement que c'était intenable. C'était une situation exceptionnelle mais pas facile à gérer. En dehors de cela, les matelas ne sont pas très confortables. Mais cela restait un séjour mémorable pour nous !

Die Lage ist einfach super! Herrlicher Blick über den See! Die Zimmer (Alpin im obersten Stock) sind einfach aber bequem.
Die Etagendusche und Toilette ist absolut in Ordnung. Dass es sehr heiß war und damit die Nachtruhe etwas gestört, dafür kann der Hotelier ja nichts.
Sehr schön war die Atmosphäre auf der Terasse, gutes Essen und Unterhaltung mit Alphornbläsern. Wirklich ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis!!

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit toller Aussicht auf den Genfersee. Sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstücksbuffet ist wunderschön angerichtet! Die Zimmer sind gross und alles ist sauber.

Cons:

Die Zimmer doch ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, und das einzige Waschbecken in der Dusche - wie wasche ich mir die Hände nach der Toilette wenn jemand duscht? Zudem recht heiss direkt unter dem Dach.
