Tan Hotel - Special Category

We had a really pleasant stay here. The location is absolutely fantastic — right in the heart of the Old City, very close to the tram stop and within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque and many other major attractions. It made getting around Istanbul incredibly convenient.

The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk took the time to show us a map and explain the main attractions in detail, including useful tips such as the Grand Bazaar being closed on Sundays. They also helped us with our luggage, and the service throughout our stay was excellent.

Breakfast was good, and the view from the terrace was beautiful — definitely one of the highlights of the hotel.

The only downside was the noise from the nearby mosque. The call to prayer was quite loud, especially early in the morning, and I could still hear it even while wearing earplugs. This is the only reason I would take one point off.

Overall, though, we had a very good experience. The excellent location, helpful staff, beautiful terrace view and easy access to public transport make this a great place to stay when visiting Istanbul.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tan hotel. The breakfast was delicious and it was actually the best food that we had our two days in Istanbul. There was such a lovely variety of Turkish food, my whole family enjoyed it. The family room was nice and big for our family of four. It is on the main floor so there is one window in each room but it was great for what we needed. The front desk staff was very helpful and the location was in walking distance to so many amazing sights.

A wonderful room, great amenities and very friendly and helpful staff, honestly, perfect experience. Even when I ran a little late for breakfast, they accommodated for me. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Property was within a stones throw to the town of Goreme. The breakfast was great and so was the service. Front desk staff helped with any type of reservation and tailor it to your liking. Staff was so attentive

We had a wonderful stay at Tan Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Sultanahmet.

What really made our stay special was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my father during his stay.

The hotel also arranged airport transfers for us and kept us informed throughout the process. They even helped us with communication and translation when needed, which we truly appreciated.

You can really feel that the staff genuinely care about their guests. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome and looked after.

We had a really lovely stay and enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff were wonderful — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.

A special thank you to Fatma! She was always so warm and cheerful, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Whenever we needed anything, she responded right away and made sure everything was taken care of. Her kindness and positive attitude really made a difference and made us feel very welcome.
